Ron and Hermione after destroying the cup was a lot worse, rofl. There was a sudden "what the f**k" shouted out in unison after that scene.
I received the first book as a bday present the year before it got popular - and was made fun of for reading it. Only to find when I got back the next year, everybody was reading it. I enjoyed the series for what it was - it is definitely not great writing, but it is good/decent storytelling.
