Who else is excited? I absolutely love Harry Potter, pretty much grew up with the series. Saw every movie in theaters and absolutely love the series. Read all books too. 25 days and counting! Before the movie comes out, my goal is to read all seven books and watch the first seven movies. Starting Wednesday (first day for vacation). Tomorrow night, I'm going to see The Sorcerer's Stone, Weekday will be The Chamber of Secrets... and so on until next Monday to see The Deathly Hallows Part 1 on BLU RAY (my first blu ray movie, the quality is freaking awesome.) HARRY POTTER!
Definitely excited. It's also kind of sad seeing that this is the end of the franchise. It had a great run. Can't say I'll be forking out the time to rewatch and reread everything, but it'll be my favorite series for a long, long time.
Same. It is pretty sad. And I definitely will fork out the time. I haven't read a Harry Potter book since probably 2008. Reading Harry Potter is very fun.
I'm excited too. I've read each of the books 20 or more times(true story). I never really liked the movies after the second one. They were too different and omitted a lot of key things that I would have liked to see. I did like Part 1 though so I can't wait for Part 2. It's definitely sad it marks the end of the franchise though.
Hh, end of the series? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-13805346 Sound's like the blow money's already started drying up.
Yep I enjoyed part 1 and especially loved how the end was done. It was a nice end for a part 1 making it look like no hope. Im also looking forward to seeing if Voldemort actually does the shout 10 times or is it just repeated over and over in the trailer. And I want to see the whole Harry throwing himself off the tower with Voldemort. And Snape is the best
I'm sad that the series is ending as well Any of you guys heard of that pottermore site? Supposedly something's going to be revealed at www.pottermore.com on June 22nd.
Yeah but apparently, according to mugglenet, it's confirmed it's not a new book in the series, so maybe it might be an encyclopedia or something. Or maybe it is a new book in the series. Maybe a prequel?
Possibly, it could tell the tale of Dumbledore's homosexual encounters ^.^ hahahaha on a serious note I am SOOOO stoked for the movie. Haven't kept up with the books since Prisoner of Azkaban so I am a little out of the loop in the little details but yeah. Can't wait either way!
Yeah, I have heard of pottermore. It's pretty interesting. A prequel would be awesome. They should tell the story of Tom in more detail. I know they showed his earlier life through Dumbledore's pensive, but telling his life through his view like they told Harry's life through his view would be really interesting. If not, a sequel with Harry, Ron, Hermoine, and Draco's kids would be interesting as well. But yeah, pottermore has been confirmed not to be a book. But I really wish it was. The more and more I think about it, the sadder I get that Harry Potter is ending.
I liked all the movies. I think the best was Part 1 and the second best was The Goblet of Fire. But they're all great.
Anyone else check out the world cup on MTV. It's a bracket set up to decide the best character. I'm very disappointed to see dobby and snape in the same section as Harry. They are my two favourites but will hardly beat him.
First one came out when I was in the second grade, and I'm graduating this year. Christ, these lasted a while. I have to rewatch The Sorcerer's Stone for nostalgia's sake.
I wouldn't. I did at Easter and god it was atrocious. I wanted to hit Emma because she over pronounced every single word. And its also weird cos she's like 12 in it.
I went and saw a comedy show tonight. It was pretty good, but I really connected with one guy when the subject of Harry Potter came up. Someone in the audience mentioned it being their favourite film series and the final one coming soon and he replied "Yeah, but it's already sort of out isn't it? They split it into two parts to keep people like you alive".
I'm a big Potter fan, but to be honest, i'm not all excited. Of course I'm going to see it because of my girlfriend, but otherwise i'm ok with waiting until redbox. I loved the movies but Part 1 disappointed me, it was too twilighty and boring (book was amazing). I hope part 2 blows me away!
Well... I am in the process of reading the Books for the first time. I have reached Order of the Phoenix. And these days I am either at work, or reading the book (and a little bit on TA) Am excited about the book as well.
That's actually fun. And the actors are well... kids... in the first movie. Radcliffe looks so lost... as harry potter should've in the first book i suppose.
