Say month in what Hardgore will be release! Or Hardgore will be inclusive in Minigore next update??? It's amazing!!!
Minigore & Hardgore have completely different game mechanics if I remember correctly, I thought Hardgore was going to be a TD-ish game.
I too think that, because in 4.0 episode will be snow level. But i don't understand, if Hardgore will be soon inclusive in Minigore, I can play all unlocked characterd?
nah it cant be. like someone said, the game mechanics are completely different minigore = survival hardgore = tower defence
Yes it's tower defense but you still have John Gore running around shooting things, he can just set up towers to help defend.
Might be some time before we see Hardgore, Chillingo found a shallow, low-budget title that appealed to scores of the lowest common denominator gamers and can probably retire now and let an automatic algorithm design and release new character models to keep the money pouring in. Minigore is case in point how in many ways the mass consumer on the App Store is preventing more complex, involved games from being developed.
I agree with thee, Yi. Minigore is finished. Just because you add new characters or re-skin the game doesn't mean your necessarily adding to the gameplay. Have we seen a second level or unlocked a mission? I think Minigore could easily add elements you need to collect, expand the environment and almost become a RPG akin to Zelda. It would be the example of how RPG's are made but they've made their money so they throw out a new character every 6 months to keep it on the charts and relax. My feeling is that we won't see Hardgore. It was ready (supposedly) over a year ago and Minigore was just supposed to be a preview. If they were going to release it they would have by now. Hopefully I'm wrong (again).
their working on hardgore at the same time as minigore. but not in the obvious way everything (gameplay wise) or most things anyway, in minigore will be in hardgore. also all the engine work, optimizations, character optimizations, new ideas, and the rest of the backend work will all go into hardgore
