I'm going to take a shot in the dark here... Hardgore is a game where you must defend the village from furries coming from all directions and/or on a path. You can play as John Gore and shoot around as you did in Minigore. You can also put up towers (guys in the wells with crossbows) and can probably upgrade them by giving them better guns. If not protected well enough with towers, the furries will reach the houses of the village and set them on fire. If the fire is kept going long enough or too many furries get to it, it is death to house. Therefore, you must also hire fire fighters to put out the fire on the burning houses.

So, Mountain Sheep, how close am I?

I hoped it would be similar to "Fat Princess" and remember a comment that the game could develop in this direction.
With their proposed genre "tower defense game", they have probably changed the concept.

Yeah, everything except for the "take a whole hour to finish a game" thing.

CaseyLay: Haha, that's actually a pretty good guess! :) To "slip" a small technical detail the village can expand and contract according to how well you're doing. Once it's down to one house with only the village idiot alive and screaming nonsense you know you're in deep sh*t hehe

^^ haha lol sounds fun and interesting :)

like archon mentioned, if you decide you guys want another project after minigore and hardgore, making a port of fat princess would be very cool :p
or even making a third 'gore' series with a fat princess type theme. i love that game :)

i think it'll be very interesting. Hardland which is where minigore is set is going to get bigger before they finish updating it.

That just sounds totally epic. It was hard to imagine it would be better than Minigore (great game), but now that I have some info on it, it sounds much better.

So about the village's "waxing and waning", do you just do well and the village randomly expands? Or is it a more natural progression (I.E. the safer you keep the village, the more villagers come out and build more houses)?

Is there a vague release date for Hardgore? Only cos I'm trying to save my last bit of money for it and I think it will be absolutely awesome :)!

^^ mountain sheep said they wont start working on hardgore until minigore is finished. so that about 10 episodes away i would say. and at this rate of the appstore approving, it wont start development until january or february next year

    are you sure??
it doesnt seem too logical to be working on both at the same time.. well to me anyway, especially since they still gotta get episode 3 finished and then co-op done

theyre two separate games and im sure the guys can multitask.
Also since we've seen concept art ect that means theyve started some work on it. How far they've actually gone is yet to be seen.
But i remember before minigore was a big game that people were looking forward to there was an image which said mingore second quater of 2009 and hardgore third quater of 2009 so they must have anticipated the need to work on them both at the same time. :D
