But since it *is* 3 years old folks with older devices stuck on iOS 3/4 should be able to download older versions from the App Store as well. Yup just the iPhone version is free. I should also mention that although it's 3 years old it has been updated many times and has full support for newer devices: retina graphics, 4" screens, even supports mythical iOS 7 controllers. But since it *is* 3 years old folks with older devices stuck on iOS 3/4 should be able to download older versions from the App Store as well. Yes, it'll run on your 1st gen iPod touches
