It doesnt bother me if the multiplayer is to work together or against each other, maybe both could be added eventually, but i think that working against each other would be a lot harder to implement. I wonder what the next update ( after smugglers) will be about because it says on their app description that the next update will be a special one... Maybe the current or coral reef idea?
Even more difficult This new Smuggler's Reef looks even more difficult! Ships having multi-colored cargo is going to add a big twist to the game. Looking forward to it. I wonder how long it will take to appear on the App Store.

thats pretty wierd haha. Some people have like 600 on some locations that Is just a crazy score. Will multiplayer be working together or against each other, or havent you decided?
Online co-op would be great, as oppose to getting at each others necks, i wouldnt mind a pick up and play co-op then spend hours honing my skill which i dont have to spare.....
I've got a great idea! How about borrowing a page from those traffic management games and introduce narrow rivers that the boats have to pass through. Here's an idea for a stage called Safe Haven, or Tsunami Trade. You have 3 docks. The narrow passages you see above are just wide enough to fit 1 boat at a time. The catch here is there's a massive tidal that comes every 20-30 seconds or so. If your boat is out in the open water it will be wiped out, but in the narrow channel you will be safe.. So just make sure your boats are in the channels before the wave washes across the open sea and sinks them. When you have more than one boat (especially multiple boats with the same coloured cargo), the trick is to keep the boats circling in the loops until the tidal wave passes. The idea I had was that you'd have to decide the direction you want the boats circling in, otherwise two boats headed towards each other in a channel would either crash, or bounce and head into separate directions. Or maybe they might just pass through each other. (Also just for the heck of it you could also have the tidal wave change direction , so sometimes it comes from the right, left, or bottom. On easy difficulty you'd have a warning as to what direction it's coming from, and the pattern of occurrence will be slowly be swinging from the West to the South to the East and back again, while on Hard difficulty the direction will be random. The wave will always hit at regular time intervals though, just to be fair.) So what do you guys think?
Maybe for multiplayer you could have one person creating waves by swiping the water, making cyclones or whrilpools by drawing a circle or send out pirate ships by a click of a button. Or, you could send clouds/fog. No co-op!!
@arta - Wow, that is a fantastic idea! That would be totally sweet! This is going to be a bit harder to code up than our other maps, but we'll definitely keep it in mind! @Hobbes - Responded in the other thread, but I like the waves and tsunamis idea. Would be sweet if you could drown the boats.

im so excited for this update i really cant wait any longer i hate apple! Anyways i watched the "cribs video" and i thought it was hilarious. Its kind of strange i always thought this was a huge company like EA or gameloft. I wish you both the best of luck i really admire you guys for all your hard work.
