WHAT? You're not staying up til the New Year? Oh, right, you're from the awesome England. You already had it.
Quantum of Solace on Xbox 360. It was some tournament to promo the game. The game was like a bad knock-off of COD4MW1 (it was published by Activision and used the COD4 engine) but once you learn all the spawn points, and best gadgets (= perks) and weapon combos, it's easy.
Happy New Years everybody!!! Got 4 hours 45 minutes to go on the west coast. Talk to you all in 2010! Time to party
Didn't destroy them all. I, particularly, like NCsoft's MMOs. Guild Wars, CoX, and Aion are my faves by them.
agreed, nc definitely does a good job, but what was your first MMO? mine was a MUD. UO was the first Massively Mulitplayer one ( ok maybe the realm had a bunch of players but c'mon ). In UO, you had your own universe to play in, no quests, nothing pre-generated as far as what you do, you make your own adventure. The only game to even come close was darkfall, but in the end, it was more focused on pvp than a virtual world. this is what I mean by the death of MMO's, we let them think for us now, they tell us what the quest is, they tell us what loots to get, it's so linear it makes me want to vomit. If you were given the choice to do whatever you wanted vs. being told what to do all the time, which would you choose?
Well, you don't HAVE to do the quests to level, that's what I like about NC's games. The reason I hate Warcraft is because of its linearness. 1 hour 30 minutes!
