Graphic-wise PSP wins. DS wins in the most games category iPhone wins at being most portable and has low priced games+good graphics+you don't have to go to a store to get games=total and EPIC WIN!!
It's hard... the PSP has some awesome games and PSOne Classics (which is a big draw for me) but... just not enough. The DS has a load of brilliant games but the ease of buying apps on my iPod has complimented my laziness quite nicely. There's a lot of crap on the App Store though, and I'm finding less and less games that interest me... nevertheless the iPod Touch remains my most used device. Also looking forward to the 3DS.
"...With the AppStore growing to over 50,000 games..."? Didn't know GameStop was THAT big! I never got into my psp....the games mostly. I found a couple games I would like, but for $40!! FOR A HANDHELD! And as for psONE classics? mehh... I use my iPod like crazy though. Sure its mostly crap, but spending 1 buck on a bad game won't set you back, as long as you can contain yourself! The 3DS does look amazing, but idk, new iPods <=> 3DS. I guess we shall seee!
It's not like there is over 49,5000 shovelware titles, which of course the DS & PSP have a lot of. So the iPhone still probably has as many titles.
I like the iPod the best...but the 3rd looks really good. Plus being nintendo and all it attracts all the big studio..I mean 60+ launch title!!!! 3D!!! But of course the idecive is getting more big titles all the time...
Take the iPhone out of that list and you've got the actual handheld wars. Of which 3DS will probably take the lead, if Sony doesn't do anything in the near-mid future.
Seeing as I only own the iPhone 4, it's going to have to be that. We'll see how the 3DS makes me feel when it comes out.
Sony is screwed in the way of handhelds. They were never competing. Nintendo was always the top DOG. Really, the PSP GO was one of there worst moves. They should stick with creating more PS3 games.
iPod - Multi-functional. PSP - Someone chose this over an iPod =.= - I don't like games avaliable. DSi - I don't have one but it isn't QUITE as multi-functional as an ipod ^.^"
PSP - Longer, full games like MGS and PSone Classics and Minis DSi - A lot of crap games like any game that has to do with pets, but good games like Dragon Quest, Legend of Zelda, Mario, and more! iPhone - Tons of cheap games! And a bunch of decent ones, but no full featured games like on the PSP or DSi. Excluding ports from PSP, PS2, PS1, DSi, and more. So the iPhone and DSi appeal to the more casual gamers, and the PSP for core gamers. So basically 2 different audiences.
