After reading these two interviews, it seems that HandCircus, the developer of Rolando and Rolando 2, is working on two new apps! As a fan of the Rolando series, what do you all think the next app from HandCircus will be? If Simon Oliver would like to give us a few hints, that would be awesome! Here are the two interviews: http://www.tuaw.com/2008/12/18/tuaw-interview-rolandos-simon-oliver-is-ready-for-release/ "And what's next for you and HandCircus -- do you have other ideas in the pipeline that you can share? As well as future plans for Rolando, I've got two different ideas brewing. One's a smaller, toy-like project, while the other is much larger in scope. I'm trying to work out whether to take a break from big projects and do the smaller one first, but before that it's time for a bit of a rest!" -From TUAW interview AND http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/rolling-off-to-the-handcircus-interview?page=2 "Eurogamer: Are you working on any other projects besides the Rolando titles? Simon Oliver: Absolutely, we've got two other projects at the early stages of development, one for iPhone, one for another platform, but we're not ready to make any announcements just yet!" -From EuroGamer interview I think it will definitely use Box2D physics, and I hope he retains Mikko Walamies as the artist for the graphics because in one word, the graphics in Rolando and Rolando 2 is: stunning! I'm thinking that maybe the "smaller, toy-like" project may be a game with minigames or something perhaps similar to Sky Burger. I think it will be a snack type of game (no pun intended in regard to Sky Burger ) As for the bigger project, it could always be Rolando 3, but as for that, I'm not really sure... I would love to hear everybody's impact, especially some hints by Simon!
