And yes, Javier is in a new location and workplace but he is almost settled in. We are always in communication and are back to work on the game. Once again, sorry for the lack of updates but life has a way of punching one's plans in the teeth on occasion. Seems life always aims for the mouth. Silly life. lol.
Vice, any idea when we can expect to see the game after this unfortunate delay? Dying for this game lol. I check the website and this thread religiously for updates on this game and haven't found anything for a month lol
It's over Well guys, After months of trying it's over. Javier has a new job and feels he no longer wants to work on the Hamster Vice game. He won't return my calls and it's literally over. I can't even get him on the phone to talk I will not speak ill of him because I think he's a nice person, it's just that I ask him for technical advise on what I need to provide him for the game and he feels that I should know these things. I am a writer and an artist and have spent months researching game design, posting questions on forums, etc. so I can make you guys an awesome game. I have been privileged to have written over 50 books and directed television animation, so I know my skill set. I just do not have enough tech knowledge, which is what I'd hoped he would bring to the project. Once again, I think Javier is great but now I'm looking for another developer to work on the game. I have never been more excited to work on a project before and it requires a tremendous amount of work and effort on the creative and technical team. I applaud all of you who have made games. And I thank all of you for your support. I am also saddened that the relationship I had hoped to build with Javier has come to and end. I wish him the very best. If anyone is interested in programming the Hamster Vice game, please send me a personal message. Take care and thank you all. It's going to break my heart to take down the wonderful ad for the game from my site tomorrow. Dwayne Ferguson www.diehardstudio.com
Really?!..on the bolded words. On the game I too am saddened as it seemed you were really into bringing this game out. Hope that you can find someone to fill the vacant spot. Best wishes, skyye
Yeah I like Javier quite a bit and still do. But sometimes these things happen. I wish him the best. I'll get that game done even if I have to learn how to program it myself Dwayne
What a great attitude. People should learn from you. I'm also saddened by this, but I do wish the greatest of luck in your future endeavors!
Thanks for the kind words but you have no idea how sad my heart is right now. I had hope we'd be the next tag team of game developers. Now it seems I lost a friend and a developer. Damn I'm sad as hell right now.
sigh.... i was looking forward... no offense to you vice, but your friend has blocked off everything with you is pretty messed up... no matter how busy he is, he can't just stop talking to his friend. thats cold man cold...
Ouch, Javier sucks. When someone won't return your calls and their DESIGNING A GAME WITH YOU, that's just sad. Won't see me buying anything from him anytime soon.
