Now that Bungie is partnered with Activision with all the rights to Halo do you think that that a version of Halo might come to the iPhone? There was a prototype for the DS and the iPhone has better graphics than the DS.
Bungie definitely said that there was going to be cross platform games after Halo Reach.

A hands on vid of the Halo DS version (unfinished).

I would pay anything Bungie-Activision-Halo series related with gameplay on the idevice platform. I would pay $30.00+ for it. I hope they do it :)

    Best game series ever.

Better than Gears of War and Call of Duty :p

If you'd be willing to pay up to $30 why not just pay 30 seconds and JB instead ;)

That's a nice idea and all, but MICROSOFT OWNS THE RIGHTS TO HALO, Bungie lost the Halo rights after they cut ties with them and went on their own, that was the deal. It's very common knowledge, especially if you go to the Xbox 360 forums on Xbox.com, or other xbox forums.

Sorry, but the possibility of Halo on the DS or iPhone or iPad is long gone since Microsoft got the rights to the franchise...unless of course they thought it would be a good idea to lend the Halo rights for Bungie to use in an iPad game.

    Um no.
    1. Halo is a MS property.
    2. Activision doesn't own Bungie

Activision just bought bungie, but I don't see it happening because they said no new halo games.

No, they didn't buy Bungie. They formed a partnership. They are NOT owned by Activision.

And it's not happening because Bungie doesn't own Halo, doesn't matter if they wanted to or not. It's Microsofts property to decide what to do with.

Yeah, Bungie just signed a 10 year publishing deal with Activision...that's it..
Activision is just their exclusive publisher for 10 years, even Bungie said they're not being owned by anyone. And Bungie said no new Halo games after Halo 3...yet 2 Halo games later. They could still do a Halo game, but Microsoft would never allow Activision to put it on the PS3...and activision would make an amazing killing even on just Xbox 360 with the Halo name alone.

That's not quite true. It a ten year publishing deal for one IP. In theory they could make another new IP and release with, say, EA.

Even if Halo did come onto the iPhone, why would you guys seriously want that experience on a tiny (and crappy, compared to any HD display) 3.5 inch screen? That's like wanting to watch Die Hard on an iPod Nano.

Sorry guys, I meant to say "Now that Bungie is partnered with Activision and still has the rights to Halo", and I'm pretty sure they still have the rights to Halo.

Thanks for the corrections (it was 12 o clock here and I was kinda tired)

No they dont. Microsoft owns all rights to Halo, pure and simple.
