My friend got it yesterday and seemed to like it. Apparently he and a few friends beat it on legendary. I ain't into Halo that much but I might give it a rental or so. Best part is that he's only gonna be playing this for a while so hes letting me borrow gears 2 and battle for middle earth 2 =)
Gah, f-ck the fact that my little bro is addicted to video games which caused the 360 to be revoked from the household. I never even got play Halo, just GRiD and Sonic Unleashed. Halo, CoD, GoW, Fallout 3, Tom Clancy, XBLA...
At least noone in this thread has said they hated Halo 3, so you haven't encountered that type of person in here yet.
Apparently Gamespot disagrees with you, Phil. It got a 9.0 Editor's Choice Rating and it says it has tons of great moments lol. I'm not a Halo person so I won't be picking up the ODST. Gamespot Article

Nah it's just a really good game. I'm not a 360 fanboy at all. Actually, I think I still use my PS2 the most.

what a joke. I love CoD MW2, but theres not much of a difference that they could have done with an expansion pack and game update to MW1. Im still buying it though. L4D2 is gonna be sick. Same with Skate 3, Halo: Reach, Forza3, Ala. Wake, Assasins Creed 2, and other titles like that.
I played Legendary with a buddy aswell. Like I said the vehicle missions were super fun with a buddy. But then ur also wondering when everything is going to the end. THERES LIKE NO STORY haha, sorry and I LOVE Halo. But this didnt cut it.

lol, he's right about the campaign length. to me, this should of been a $30 expansion, i mean cmon. nothing new except a modified SMG, another character, and a game mode oh but of course, they know that most of the halo 3 players are little kids that have their parents buy everything for them, so they figured no one would be complaining about the price
halo 3 odst is great, one of the best halo campaigns to date, it felt fresh and fun. the story telling was better than in previous halo games, the human characters were actually a nice touch, and they got the film noir feel through in the way they told the story. and its not the same graphics, but yes it's the same engine, but the graphics have been updated, it looks awesome, it's co-op as well so always fun to play with friends, and fire fight is great fun also, well worth the money, unless you're poor
