Just finished the whole game on Legendary =D Well... not really a smiley face, I feel like Ive been cheated out of my money. This should have been a 2000 MS Points game or sumthing like Lost and Damned. Bad: - The story was terrible..... nothing really happened. - There was some sort of love story crap that didnt make sense - 60% of the game was on one map walking back and forth - That map was really boring and in a city, and dark.... - There were only like 3 vehicle missions that did make me want to play more but only vehicle missions - There was NO climax - There was NO character development - No dual weilding - Shall I say more? Good?: - Same Graphics - Same engine - Like 3 new weapons - uhmm? If you wanna spend $60 on a 5 Hour game go ahead. Thank GOD I traded in a few games I beat to get it and only had to pay a $.33 difference. RENT IT if you really have to. I got really annoyed when it kept going back to the same map. and you walkd BACK AND FORTH! -Phil =D
Well I ordered it from amazon today $50 with a $10 certificate they give to you so really $40. I don't think I'll ever play it though it's for my son he's into it big time. I didn't let him get the mythic map packs though as I read all the halo 3 map packs are included on ODST.
Skate 3 is a 2010 game and it's gonna suck, unless they actually do something new. And ODST is awesome, I don't get all this moaning NVM, I don't really care, as long as I enjoy it!
I beat it under 5 hours on heroic... I don't know why it costs $60, it's only an expansion pack.... This won't last me for long
5 hours for a home console game is, IMHO, just not acceptable. I'm hoping it's the case of you guys being "1337 gamerz" and Halo fanatics to the point where you breeze through things that no average gamer could in such a quick time. If not, and this really is a 5 hour game, or you guys aren't really that good and are average (which would mean hardcore Halo fanatics would zip through this in even less time), I'll wait it out a few months for a price drop or sale.
I'm enjoying it so far. me and a buddy played co-op for an hour or two last night. my copy won't be here for a while since I got the cheapskate shipping from buy.com.
Didn't take that long to beat, even on the higher difficulties, but i still thought it was pretty fun. Not worth $60 IMHO, unless you're fanatically devoted to Recon armor. Maybe $30 or $40, but firefight mode is fun.
wow so cool i was actually thinking about getting this i guess ill just wait now until its around 20-30 dollars. i was considering batman anyone have any thoughts on that game ?
true that. Awesome game. I beat the story in like twelve hours but i actually felt compelled to go back and solve all the riddles, which is a good thing. I also got 3 stars on each challenge map which took a while. I have to beat it on hard still to get the platinum trophy. 360 game of the year maybe but not ps3. That's gonna be either uncharted2(effing amazing), or ratchet and clank which is one of my favorite games of all time. I wasn't as excited for Ratchet as the last couple haven't been as good (Up your arsenal was the best, the online was awesome, I actually peaked at 9th in the world in win loss ratio when I was playing a lot), but its looking to be amazing and its getting a lot of really good press saying its a huge improvement. And then Cod is Cod. Not Goty, but will be awesome
Apparently there's more exclusive content on the PS3 version of Batman Arkham Asylum. Sony's really chugging that money under the table now.
Yeah, this seems like more of a rental for me, I really only buy the games that have a lot of replay to them either online or off(guitar hero, COD).
If you love Halo 3, proceed to step 1, if not go to 2 1- buy ODST 2- if you like stealth/beat-em up buy batman, if not proceed to step 3 3- if you have a DS buy scribblenauts, if you don't proceed to step 4 4- if you have enough money buy a DS then go back to 3, if not go to step 5 5- get some money, then go back to 4
the halo franchise is overall pretty fun, there not the greatest games ever, although there up there.. but there fun to play, have a great deep story, and they have one of the most badass heroes ever, master chief.ODST just looks like a regular shooter set in the halo world. not all that interesting, but i still may check it out.i mean halo is known for master chief and hes not even in there so i dont know. i rented batman and its amazing, i didn't get to play it much. but i will hopefully be able to rent it again. which i have never done with a game.other than that if you like racing games dirt 2 is fantastic. the first one is my favorite racing game. and this one beats it on so many levels. wet is also another pretty fun game, i suggest renting that one. other than that there aren't to many great games out or coming out until modern warfare 2, and assassins creed 2
Haha, this is a pretty good plan of action. A friend of mine referred to Scribblenauts as the "Citizen Kane of video games". I don't know if I'd go that far, but it is pretty fun. edit: Also I am loving all these people online who hated Halo 3 who are buying ODST and are somehow shocked that they also don't like it. That's like saying "Man I hated Fellowship of the Ring but I'm going to buy The Two Towers!"
Really? I'm getting Skate 3 in December, go figure. they have a NEW city, NEW tricks, and a whole NEW system for creating parks, (NEW feature) videos, and other NEW stuff.
