    I just broke my last highscore! 181 > 210! Whoo!

    But since I have the GameCenter bug.. no new highscore registered.

    Damn! And I was proud of myself for hitting 123. My eye can't keep up with the skater spinning so fast after awhile

    It's needs some practice :p. I have unlocked every stage already. It's a shame apple screwed with the game center bug.

    It's fun so far but a hair shy from being completely addictive. I think something very important for these types of games is to be able to restart a game from dying in less than two seconds. Having to press the screen twice to play again and also having to press small buttons rather than a huge area contributes to this problem. I'm not saying this is a huge problem, but this is something to think about.
    For me and I'm sure for a lot of people here will confirm being able to replay the game super quickly and with super easy definitely makes you want to play more.

    California games and a few others are the inspiration behind this game. We didn't want to date ourselves by mentioning that :D

    We also have fond memories of Jet Set Radio & Tony Hawks on the dreamcast. Anyone remember that console? Speaking of the dreamcast, we're also eagerly awaiting Yu Suzuki's Shenmue 3!

    Thank you for all the amazing feedback, some of you have blown through the game way too fast! We'll post some more updates and answers regarding the iAP/icon soon. All test flight invitations have been sent out.

    Another fan of California Games here! Played it a lot on my Apple //e back then :p

    Not sure if you've seen my previous post about the issue with the GIF generation on the iPad?

    BTW, I'm #1 on the leaderboard with 284 points! :D Would've loved to share a GIF, but I was playing on the iPad mini :/

    Edit: Oops, just beat that, with 346 points! :p

    It reminds me so much of California games! This one is super fun! Even tho it's a one touch game, I really love it! I would love to have more options (control) of those tricks (maybe have different tricks) but even if it stays that way I'll still really enjoy it.

    Maybe you could have "tap on the right side to do grabs and touch on the left to do those 360"

    When it gets faster it's more about getting the rhythm than actually seeing the skateboard position @.@

    Some more icon iterations, what do you guys think?

    Feature Requests
    We should be able to get in the ability of a random background/hero every time you play and splitting up the selection so that any hero can be used on any background! Except perhaps the stadium hero.

    Bugs
    We're looking into the gif sharing issue on iPad, can you tell us what iOS version you're using on there? Also, have you tried iMessaging from that and seeing if it works? Also, the in app purchases will work upon release, this is a testflight issue currently.

    Notes
    Regarding new tricks, we'll likely save that for an update as we've got a lot to learn about the app store and would like to launch the game and see which direction to take next. We did prototype left/right tapping to do different tricks but a lot of people would get mixed up and forget what side to tap on and then blame the game, so we decided to go with something easier first.

    3 or 4. By the way, I actually like it that it's simple and no confusing 2 sides tapping. Maby there is a way to implement other tricks with the current control scheme. Maby timing related?

    Edit: hmm.. icon 3 is the best. It would stand out more and it's easily recognizable.

    iPad mini 2 (retina), running iOS 9.1 - the same on my iPhone6 (on which the GIFs work). Tried iMessaging the GIF and it looks the same way. I can post one of the GIFs here or email it to you, if that helps.

    Edit: about the icon, I actually prefer the current one.. too much cyan/magenta on these new ones, reminds me of the terrible CGA palettes. If I had to choose one it would be #2, but I like the red skateboard better.

    The 7,500 level and 17,500 are so much like where I live and work. 7500 is like a copy and paste of what I see every time I go to work. Check Akashi bridge near Kobe, it's exactly what you can see from the coffee shop I stop by once in a while. I love that level. 17,500 is also just like around my house in Kobe ^^
    Great job guys! By the way I wished there would some kind of "fever" combo just like in Patapon. For example get 5 perfect in a row and get more points and maybe a special combo that would be risky but would give you lot of points if you an do it (maybe by double taping on the screen).

    Still no bugs at all, though I did enjoy the time with no ads....is this game close to release?

    The game now features grinds, inverts, quick flips, and switch ups apart from the regular game play. Nail these for even more points and cash! There's even a secret easter egg, let's see if you guys can find it.

    We'd like to thank everyone for all the feedback, including those that don't post in this thread. The new TestFlight build will be out soon and we'll announce the release date thereafter.
