I just browsed indierelief, and wow, so many apps. Does anyone know what time zone they mean when they say Jan 20th? Pacific time? Thanks.
I thought about this too and I am planning to do the same thing. Also, I will donate immediately at the end of the feature period too rather than wait for Apple to pay me.
Sniper Strike is participating in this event today. Just by a pure random stroke of luck, it's featured as New & Noteworthy in iTunes Games section! I've updated my description to have people check out both AppRelief.com and IndieRelief.com for other great apps. Hopefully it will help to drive a little bit of traffic.
i'll be paying next week as well, instead of waiting for Apple to pay me. are we supposed to be announcing our daily downloads?
If you want to announce the amount from each day that you'll be donating, we can add it up and keep a running total. Just email it to [email protected].
Train Conductor has joined the effort! We decided to donate all proceeds from the week long special we're currently running. We'll post the totals once we know them!
It's sad, but only 1 sale from Cheese Collect for today, but every little bit counts right? Hopefully it'll increase over time... I'll be paying once 24th is over.
Most important thing is that we get this thing set up to be an ongoing effort and sign up as many devs as possible. Part of this will be automating the process which is in progress and keep our finger on it because there is always somewhere in the world that will need help. Every little bit counts.
Uggy is participating. And I had updated the post in "iPhone and iPod Touch Games" in TA. Hope that more people will know about this
i havent sent my numbers in yet. i think it is around $40- i can verify when i get home. does anyone know of some way to use the raw data from itunes connect to compile data?
.apprelief (http://www.apprelief.com/) showed numbers, too. Current amount of donations: approx. 28.000$!!! Indie relief (http://www.indierelief.com/) is still showing approx. 144.000$.
