Sadly, my Backbone controller is broken or I’d check that too. @W8rd3, I played a good 2 hours using touch and didn’t have any issues. It is one of those games that is always going to feel better using a controller though. At least that’s my opinion. W8rd3 likes this. To paraphrase myself, I think it’s one of the best games I’ve played this year. I finished it to 100% with touch controls only. It’s doable; does get tough in parts that require precision, but doable. Controller is 100% better though. Although I had a hard time adjusting to the controller at first, after using touch only for a solid week. Yep. I played the original release with a Backbone (which also broke since, see below). I’d assume this rerelease still has controller support. Mine also broke recently. Started with the L1 key not working, and then the left joystick started registering constant ‘down’ movement. So something in the “backbone” broke. I’ll open it up when I have time and see if it can be fixed, but I got a Kishi v2 in the meantime. Lol. Any time I try it now my character moves automatically down and to the right without any input and no other buttons work. I tried the warranty but I was past my one year by several months. Keep in in mind that it’s a Metroidvania, so there backtracking involved, and it’s very much story driven, not rogue like. it’s also a very good game . Anotherkellydown and elcrazy like this.
