Found a way out : by moving back and forth you can get a random attack. Then you just let yourself die. That cost me all my gold but at least I can keep playing !
Both things have happened to me as well on iPad mini 64 gb. I'm also playing on iPhone 4S and I think the same happens in that game, too. EDIT - just checked and while the music bug is the same on iPhone 4S, the item bug does not occur in that game. Items won during battles only seem to disappear in my iPad mini game.

I've been playing this a ton and loving it. Slightly stuck as I'm on a map quite far (beat what I thought was the last boss) and can't find the next one as lava impedes my way. This has been worth every penny many times over.
I think I need some help. I'm stuck in the Arena, can't even pass the halfway point. My dudes are all level 9. Should I head out of the palace and level up? Any tips?
If you are where I think you are, you've missed a turnoff - the map is very convoluted. Yes, if you are already in the arena, you'll probably have to die and be reborn without your gold (but all your gear). Go get lots more gold and stuff (and maybe level up), then go into the fight with rage potions, paralysis wands, healing vials, and guns blazing! There's definite strategies for most monsters - and speed boots definitely help keep the big non-ranged ones running around in circles while you can range em. ps. any arena battles you've already defeated you won't have to do again.
Sweet, thanks for the tips! Two questions: what does the rage potion do, exactly? And what does the Incantation of War spell do? It's not very clear. Is that helpful in the Arena?
The rage potion sends your character beserk so they get two attacks per turn instead of one. My mage can cast this from a distance too as a spell. Not sure about the other thing though sorry.
Help! I can't buy this Been trying to buy this but it won't let me, I use the link on page 1 of this, it finds the game but when I buy it and put my password in, I get a security screen saying 'since this is the first time using an iTunes account you need to answer more security details'!!! What the hell?? My account is 2-3 yrs old and I've bought hundreds of apps. I just tried another game and it worked, tried this one again and the same....? is it not for sale in the uk or something? Take my money
Did you try buying another paid app? Or just downloading a free one? Because it seems Apple has been asking for this from a bunch of people lately. I don't think it could possibly be anything specific to this game. You should be able to get it by verifying your identity.
Also key thing about being Berzerk is that it lasts as long as you do at least one attack a turn. You can use the other "attack" to change weapons or drink a normal-speed potion, or cast a normal-speed spell. But if you don't attack, then the Berzerk wears off (if you use up your moves, for instance, or you can't because you don't have a range attack and aren't next to an enemy). As for Incantation of War, this makes everyone in an area (3x3) "Strong", doing more damage from physical attacks. (not very good use of spell points imho) btw just came across this monster

Yes, it was another paid game, only 69p but I doubt that matters. Tried this again and I'm still being asked security questions I guess I'll have to skip this but I have tried to buy it 8-9 times.
Well. Uh.. Okay no laughing I created my iTunes account about 3 years ago, the questions its asking me I've loooong since forgotten Anyway, I've downloaded 2 free games and 2 69p games today and they went through without the security questions popping up. Try this again and it asks me again. Very strange indeed
Where is Vella? Been playing this game for weeks, totally loving it! The screenshots at the appstore really don't do it enough justice. I've just run into a problem though. I've gone up to the 2nd level of Blayside Citadel but there is nothing there, no princess Vella, per what the quest suggests. Help please? Am I missing something?
It depends. Beeing strong doubles your physical damage (more or less) Combine it with berserk, and suddenly, you're beeing godly. Just need to see how much damage you would get out of the spell compared to other spells with the same mana requirement. Edit.: At first, I also thought it wasn't that great, but lategame, physical dampage deals WAY, WAY more damage than magical spells, hence why doubling all physical damage is a great source of damage
