Can barely get past level 2 and 3. Doesn’t feel well balanced from a design perspective. Difficulty spikes right from level 2 and there’s a lot of hazards in a small space. You can get “checkmate” without a fault of your own. The perks also don’t always feel useful. (Apart from a few) Performance wise, it does start heating up your phone within a few mins., which is not expected from a game like this. Don’t think I will go ahead with the full game purchase sadly. elcrazy likes this. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #10 elcrazy, Jun 26, 2024 I went for a full purchase but kind of regret it. It’s fun and certainly difficult. I have not reached the first boss but gotten close. Not sure if there is a second trail with another boss. I do wish I felt a sense of progression or unlocks. It’s just very flat that way. One of my main issues, (and this is something I have never complained about before), the phone gets really hot, I mean really hot. iPhone 15 pro max in a case and man can you feel the heat. Makes me nervous to play it. Still having some fun. But it does feel too hard at some points. That being said, I love making a cool combo and taking out 3 or more guys at once. Or having them kill each other. There is some fun here. It’s just hard, no sense of progression and phone gets too hot. Rocksaint likes this. I was in the beta. Have beaten the default difficulty many times, expert once, and played and completed many, many daily challenges. It requires some serious thought regarding the way upgrades and ammo will interact with the field. Have died many times because fire from an ammo upgrade has lit dynamite off or something similar involving being pushed into a trap or something. Anyways, I really enjoy the game, even after a couple months of regular daily play. Preferred upgrades for default map rules: Multishot, leap, kick, with range, pierce, rush for ammo. elcrazy and Anotherkellydown like this. Simple on the surface with some layers in the upgrades that add to the strategy. Very difficult which in my opinion is a good thing. I can't stop picking up my phone for a quick game or two.
