I can't help either of you. I have no issues switching between my iPad at home and my iPhone using cellular data. I also don't have any issues buying things as needed. I used the majority of my gems to upgrade ship parts. Not sure if that's "right" but it made my ship playing feel about on level with my adventures on the regular map.

The postings of daily codes have put me off from trying the game. I don't like games that try to manipulate me into playing every day, instead of when I want.
Yea, but they're FREE stuff in game. You're literally complaining about FREE STUFF. Go over the the 'code' list for all the different passwords for the Spy for heavens sake. Each day, having some free stuff so I don't have to go playing the ship part is awesome. That's the most boring part of the game IMO. It's wholy different than the log on bonus for the thief gumball.
Yes, exactly. If the game is boring when you're not getting free stuff, that's a negative to me. I'd rather it were balanced so you have just what you need to make it the most fun in the first place.
