But... Why should I have to pay a premium price for a mobile game??? I'd rather fuss about pay to win free games and then say mobile is not real gaming ......
The price is pretty good if you compare what you get: * Over 40 Guitar Hero Live tracks to play and master * Access to the GHTV channels featuring over 200 songs at launch
You can actually: A) Plug a Bluetooth guitar B) Plug your iPhone/iPad in HDMI and play in fullscreen like the console version. 49.99$ is the iAP to unlock all the songs, 99.99$ is the price of the guitar bundle + unlock.
Killer, if I simply want to play this on the iPad, with all the songs, without the guitar, it will cost $49.99? Apologies if this is a rhetorical question.
From the GHL forums, it sounds like the mobile version will have its own guitar that will not work with any other version and vice versa.
Yep, it's an MFi controller. Will only work with Apple products, much like the PS4 guitar will only work with the PS4.
So whys everyone complaining? It's the Exact same version as the console edition... Would the same backlash be had if a AAA game was released simultaneously across Consoles, PC & iOS? If so then you're part of the problem. Also, the game kind of sucks but I'd rather be playing the real instrument.
Heavy Clouds You know what pisses me off the most about this release? It's the fact that it's a 2.2 GB mobile game that requires a constant internet connection just to play! At least give us the option to buy songs and play the game offline without any hindrance. If you're going to be online only, make it a less than a 100MB install.
The only thing that's holding me back at the moment is the memory of GH and Rock Band 1&2 with all my IAP songs gone from the App Store when the licensing ran out. I don't want a repeat performance.
Over 2GB for GUITAR HERO. Is it time for me to upgrade again? In going for a 128gb iPhone 6 next year then.
