Wow, I saw some real gameplay of this on Xbox 360, and (not owning any consoles, and only having a Mac for "gaming", which means I get about 1/1000 of the amount of content PCs get) I didn't really see what all the hype was about, but after that video......... DAMN. That has to be one of the neatest looking games ever. So amazing. Now I see why this was one of the most expensive games to make.
I has mai GeeTeeAyy V. Shame I won't be able to try it until I have a day off. >_> Hate working 6 days a week, but what can you do...right?
I always thought your location was a joke, buuut... Possesses a physical copy of GTA V... cannot play it... yep, you might just be in Hell. DBC
With all the ridiculous hype this is getting and the over the top reviews (sorry, but if any AAA game review site is not purchased, I would be surprised), I can't imagine this won't disappoint. Probably in a week or two people will be hating on it, once the stars are out of their eyes. Still I'd like to get it. I guess the hype works. LOL! But no funds available right now, so I get the luxury of seeing what people don't like about it before buying.
With a WHOLE bunch of developer/publishers, this would immediately smack of hyperbole, but with Rockstar? Yeah, it's tough to think of things they've done that were less than good, even accounting for taste... DBC
Ain't that the truth? Well, it turns out I'm off tomorrow, but the entire place is filthy and covered in dust. Unless that's taken care of, my PS3 isn't coming out.
Spot on. I haven't even left the city yet and I'm getting those sweet San Andreas vibes all over the place. So, so good and yet, so much more to discover.
Well deserved too. Gangstar. HAH. Every time the console-mobile gap starts to narrow, somebody like Rockstar comes along and opens it right back up again.
I haven't even gotten into the world yet. Pretty sure my character creation saved though. Nothing unexpected though, Rockstar released a statement a few days ago practically telling us this would happen until they're able to swap servers around and fix obvious bugs.
Done a few missions on story mode and I'm mainly just driving around. I won't be trying online for at least another month or two. Hopefully by then, things should be operational.
I expect it'll be playable for most people by the weekend. I'm gonna try and get in early so I can keep up with it as it grows. I find I appreciate new features/updates/fixes more when I've already been playing without them.
