      they're probably working on removing features to make a lame 'lite' version for iphone users...

      I bought the psp version since I got frustrated of waiting and it's the best GTA portable ever :)

      Maybe they are one of the developers that Apple supposedly contacted to make flexible resolution versions of their products in anticipation of an Apple tablet launch? Although making a good input interface for GTA on the iPhone already seems hard, making a good one for a tablet would seem even harder. Would you be expected to hold a tablet up between two hands meaning only thumbs are available or would be expected to place it down on your lap or on a table and have all digits accessible?

      Regardless, the tablet will probably be the traditional "one more thing", and I don't doubt Apple will spend some time demoing upcoming programs for the iPhone earlier. Hopefully, GTA will be demoed and/or released at the January Apple event.

      Wow. I've been a GTA fan forever and I've wondered for a while if Rockstar wasn't going to release an iPhone version. Very happy to have come across this piece of news!

      "It's not like the other ones" You do know the first few GTA games were top-down? CTW is amazing. People who say it suck are people who haven't playe it, and just judge games on visual appearances (CTW looks awesome btw).
      It mixes GTA IV with GTA II, it's very satisfying.

      I would have liked voice-acting for the main characters, though. And more missions like the Melanie mission in the PSP version where you break into a drug factory.

      The DS version is now $19.99. Rockstar should release the iPhone port in March.
