OK I agree.... The reason it seems PSP has better graphics is because not everyone can make beast games for the iPhone, but when you do get beastly games for the iPhone, the price is usually at most $10! And I don't think that's the case for PSP... If you want to see a really good game for the iPhone then I'd suggest looking up Ravensword. It's gonna be released Very soon for $7. it's an RPG. basically it's oblivion on the iPhone! BOOYA! Oh yeah and another thing... PSP CONTROLS ARE LIMITED. The iPhone barely has any limits! Also Rock Band is on the iPhone!
Leave a while, and the thread gets hijacked into another pointless PSP vs. iPhone/touch debate. As for the graphics debate, iPhone/touch hardware could enable PSP level games, or better...but the hardware is straphanged by background operations, and always "on" OS which is a larger one than you'd see running on portable game systems, and that's because it's NOT a portable game system. Games are not a primary focus. iPhone/touch 3Gs based devices could definitely have better than PSP level graphics, what with the universal shaders (one of the things, btw, that made XBox games look better than PS2 and GC games), but that's beside the point as there aren't many 3Gs based specific games to show off that hardware. And even there the nature of the device is holding some of that power back. Put the same CPU, GPU and RAM in a portable game system (dedicated device) and it would be a different story, but it's not a dedicated portable game system. It's a mobile platform that has games. Big difference. So let's end this. They're two different types of devices in two different markets. Let's get back to the friggin' game discussion already. Jeez.

The company hasn't announced a release date for the Apple versions of both games, but Take-Two CEO Ben Feder said both are coming "shortly." Feder made this comment at the BMO Capital Markets "Digital Entertainment Conference" in New York this morning, following comments on the success of Civilization Revolution on the iPhone. He also said more franchises will be coming to the iPhone, but declined to say what we can expect. so i think max payne 3 will be the next title! what u think guys?

You kidding? You guys would seriously take this one over gangstar? Hmm 3d or 2.5d. People have grudges against gameloft for cloning games yet not even the original developers of the games they are cloning can make anything near as good as they do for iDevices. Call of duty: zombies sucked compared to modern combat, gangstar kills china town wars and even their sports games are better than EA's. Their games are fun and don't cost an arm and a leg just because they are a major company. If rockstar came out with a 3d grand theft auto for ipod touch than yes, it would probably be better than gangstar but they haven't even tried.
CTW is the best rated game on (damn, forgot the site, was it IGN or something like this?) a review site. I really liked gangstar, but why not looking at the original?!
Guess you haven't played the original or the PSP one. Best game on the DS and PSP. Gangstar doesn't even begin to compare to GTA: CTW. Graphics don't make the game, gameplay does.
It's just the best rated game period. No specific site, just overall, on the DS and PSP. Gangstar will drop to 0.99$ when GTA comes out, pretty sure.
Gangstar is fun but CTW is simply more innovative, interesting and fun, or at least the DS version was. I'd lose the 3D of Gangstar if it meant gaining the humor and heart of CTW.
Man you are so so so correct, i don't know why people don't appreciate Gameloft.. I think so far they are the best iPhone game makers and i see a lot of bad feed back from customers.. Gangstar will be GTA China town 100%.. who wanna bet?
we had a "PSP is better than Iphone"-Discussion already, now start the "Gameloft doesn't sucks and Gangstar is even better than GTA CW" discussion. don't get me wrong, the games of Gameloft are great, and Gangstar is, too, but how you are able to say that GTA CW is not as good as Gangstar, if GTA isn't even in the Appstore yet?
Look, people can like Gangstar all they want, that's fine, I liked it, but I am soooo getting this too. It's your opinion if Gangstar is better so please don't just say "Seriously!? How could you think this is gonna be good? Gangstar will pwn it!" You could simply say "I personally think that Gangstar will be better for me." or something. Your opinion doesn't make it right.
People only buy GL clones because there is usually nothing else like it out there. Judging by what you said, you have never played Chinatown Wars. If you think CTW actually has less content than Gangstar, you seriously need to play CTW. Also, keep in mind that Infinity Ward made MW, Treyarch made WaW, Activision was the publisher.
