You really think that Rockstar would lie to the public like that? Although, since they've been giving no information on it, I could actually see them doing something like that. But still, I refuse to believe they won't have it here this fall.
don't forget crisis core. and it's not even the fact that they look better to begin with, it's the ultra smooth performance the psp delivers along with it. i've played all of the games you've mentioned and they don't suffer from any stuttering or major slowdown. they run smooth as silk. games like dungeon hunter which aren't even half as visually impressive stutter and suffer from slowdown when a handful of enemies show up. asphalt 5 gives me shit from time to time, and it doesn't even look nearly as good as the burnout psp titles that it's trying to rip off entirely. it is up to the developers to deliver a title more impressive than what the psp can handle, but "what can be" means jack shit until a title is actually realized. that said, i still play my apps way more than my psp.
Wait till Ravensword comes out, that surely would at least rival PSP titles. Looks silky smooth and the animation looks like oblivion's (or what it would be on an ipod)
If you think its not fair the iPod Touch is getting a low-res port, go BUY A PSP, your lucky enough that Rockstar is even considering porting it, and if you think of it's pricing, you might as well stay quiet. The iPod isn't even worth being compared to the easily superior PSP when it comes to gaming.
The iPhone/iPod Touch is capable of better graphics than the PSP, the iPhone/iPod Touch is more powerful than the PSP. If you think the PSP is superior when it comes to gaming, why aren't you on a PSP forum instead?
While IPhones and Ipods are superior, they have a horrible OS for games, unlike the PSP which allows all of it's hardware to be used when running games.
as i said previously, that power means nothing until it's truly utilized. as for pug, it seems as though he doesn't want to limit himself to just psp games just because he finds it to be the superior machine. the only thing that bugs me about him is that he's openly for piracy...in which both the iphone/ipod and psp handhelds are perfect for him, unfortunately.
Hmmm.. Utilize. I wonder if TA could encourage Apple to create an OS specially made or gaming and give us the option to buy it, if they're not doing it already..
let's get back on topic here. When is this game going to come out? Fall is almost over and Winter is coming. Did they announce this just to get us hype and then disappoint us at the end?
They sayed that game comes out in september or october, huh ? Now, after 2 month they still didn't release this game. How much time they was forking on Rock Band or C&C ? 2 months ?

I have the FREEDOM TO POST whatever does not oppose the rules. The iPod is DEFINITELY not capable of even getting close to the caliber of even a mediocre PSP game. Please, the iPod is a great media device, but rubbish when it comes to gaming. These are two different styles of gaming as well. Casual v. Hardcore. Tell me which one is going to have higher production values.
