Let's see. One guy said that I am everything that's wrong with the App Store. Then about a dozen or more people laughed and agreed with him. Another guy said he felt sorry for me. Yea, I'm pretty sure I am not the only person acting like a jerk here. Not to mention, I'm not the one who started it. I came here to ask a simple question and (as with most message boards) I got a bunch of smartass answers.
Looks to me like you are the OP, so I'd say you started it. But seriously, what kind of response did you expect from posting your question? Sure you can look back now and say you were right, but I don't think anyone would have guessed Rockstar was going to drop the price so soon.
I started the thread, but I didn't start the insults. And just because people didn't expect a price drop doesn't excuse them for flaming me.
I'd been trying to decide for several days if I should buy it at $4.99 or wait for a price drop. Earlier today I took the plunge. Less than two hours later, appshopper notifies me it went on sale. I'm finally one of those people. Anyway, it's well worth the higher price in my opinion. Really well done, and an outright steal at the current price.
