Ahh, gotcha! I haven't heard/read anything about those things being changed. From what I've seen the game at it's core will remain the same, but with the fixes to the Platinum Series and overall quality of life improvements the update should just result in a better, improved playing experience. Definitely nothing that will make you lose any innocence

No info on a date just yet. Like I said, I'm working with the team to see what's 100% locked down for the update to try and tease a little bit. I'm hoping to get something next week/week after at the latest. GDC is making things a little crazy but I'm still pulling for you guys!
Ok guys, I know it's not much but I was able to wrangle a screenshot of the main menu and what it looks like after the rework. I'll see if I can get anything else before the update goes live. Hi all, Im new to this forum and i do apologize if this question has been asked before. I installed gt2 racing and really enjoy the game, however in my multiplayer mode i dont seem to get any rp point even though i race plenty of races against various difficulty opponents. I can see them on the leaser boards but when i click on show my own position nothing nothing happens just a black screen. My rp keeps on saying 1300 and it simply doesnt change, i have tried all thing possible to find out what is wrong but no luck, Can anyone please help me out with this Many thanks in advance
Didn't notice question till now, so sorry bout that. But the issues you mention are linked somehow to a cloud save, server sync issue. It is a problem the team behind it are aware of and are fixing but the fix won't come until the update as its built in that and there's nothing you can do in the meantime. The update will fix it though. The date of it is not known yet but it is very advanced and can't be too far away. Won't be this week though. There's a screen shot of the new menu from the update above your post so its possible that its a week or two away at a very rough guess. I have a similar problem to yours myself but the update is what fixes it.
would be nice. i've got no idea if theres a scheme which cars acclerate and which not. its very bad when you buy a new car for lots of iap cash and then the car is worthless because its not acclerating and you lose every race. the 599GTO was such a thing...
Hey quick follow up on this: Which driving layout are you using when you notice cars don't accelerate? Are you using manual gas or auto-accelerate? Thanks!
I have a problem with manual acceleration at the start of a race. I have to wait until it says "go" to hold down the gas button because if I hold it before it says "go," it doesn't register. It's very annoying.
I think this behavior is how it should be? I mean you don't hold own your accelerator in a real car prior to green light?
Great thanks for that information! This has been brought up once before in the thread. Based on what I've seen in the update this hasn't been changed. I'm not sure if it is in our plans to change at this point, but if it bothers enough players I can try to see what we can do about it.

No prob, it looks to be a big update that hopefully will solve the problems people were having on the technical side. I'm looking forward to some new cars myself. I'd love to see the Laferrari in it but I'm sure is possible considering its in A8. I guess the race is on to see if it goes in RR3 or GTR2 first. Hopefully in this one first, because the anticipated price of it in RR3 scares the bejesus out of me. Oh and it really looks like we are gong to have to get a team going on here for this. I'm sure someone did but I can't find it but either we will have to sort one out when the update hits.
