    It seems the level up bug is still present. Ive been stuck at level 62 since worldwide release. My question is this: If I restart from the beginning, do I get my IAP back as well? If so I'll do that, otherwise, I'm not sure what to do at this point.

    The nice thing is we won't just be updating the game once so improvements can and will still come to this game. The Dev team has plans for each update and they do their best to supplement the update with player feedback that I get and the Customer Care team gives them.

    I'll continue to relay feedback about the controls and hopefully the Dev team can keep control improvement in mind with future updates!

    Hmm alright, I'll have to let the team know this issue is still around. You could try the restore purchases and then go from there and restart. If you're IAPs aren't still on your account our customer care team should be able to restore your purchases.

    Coins to Premium?

    I don't know if this has been discussed before, but are there any plans for introducing a conversion between Game-Money and Premium-Currency?

    I might not be the "typical" player, but I like to race a lot, just for fun without necessarily progressing in the campaign.
    So I have a lot of regular Money from winning races and it would be great if I could convert them to Premium-Currency at any rate?

    I don't think this would change their revenue very much since you still would have to race a LOT. And people who want things fast would still go on spending real money.

    What do you think?

    Mr Gameloft Ryan! Help! Help! Once back from vacation can you please look into why my status on the leaderboards dropped from 7th of all time to 800000? I had 3750 RP but now I have 1250. I am logged into GC and FB in the game. I actually thought my prior issues of not earning RP in races was fixed since each MP game I raced had 2-3 "Hard" opponents in the race which earned a small amount of RP if won. Curious to why they deleted all of my RP that was earned via hours of grinding when I initially got the game?? Any help is appreciated! Hope you enjoyed your vacation!

    P.S. What happened with the Ferrari GTO races? It stopped halfway through the series!

    You're going to need to submit that information to Gameloft support.
    I have a link on page 40 of this thread, second post on page.
    Ryan would be passing the information in to them as a third party whereas you yourself can give them more of the required details.

    Ryan would absolutely do his best to help, he always does, but the support staff is the most direct method for technical difficulties of this kind for individual customers as they will have a unique case id that they will interact directly with the development team on and it is the specific job they do.

    Also the Ferrari GTO races didn't end in the middle, they continue up to today and I acquired the GTO FXX earlier today (well, yesterday really in my local time).
    The only time it did not show up is when I had no Internet connection. At all other times while I had an Internet connection it was/is there.

    When contacting support, give as much detail as possible such as dates your leadership position was fine and date when it changed. It also might be significant, though this I can't say for sure, if you use more than one gamecenter account or Facebook account to log in to game. Also, jailbreak or not, iOS version, device version, game software version and so on.
    Basically any and all details as anything, even insignificant to yourself but may be causing confusion with the save file software.

    This is the method you need to use.
    Also any menu page screenshots showing leaderboard status and position would also help them out. If you had ones from earlier it would help but I imagine it would be a long shot that you would have them, but it certainly would help if you did.
    As much detail as possible is the key.

    They may not be back up to speed fully at support until Monday so give it a few days for them to go through the holiday backlog, pass the info on to the dev team, the dev team to analyse it and then get back to you.
    It won't happen overnight but they will get it done.

    Edit 2. As of 8am GMT, the GTO platinum event is still showing up and has 30 hours left to finish it. So it is possible you have an Internet problem or the app is not communicating with the game server.

    I'm inclined to hazard a guess that when you say in the middle of the series it stopped, the jailbreak came out at roughly the same time. It is possible that may be the source of your problems as that new jailbreak does many, many things that I won't get into right now that most certainly are capable of adverse affects.
    Of course if you didn't jailbreak, its irrelevant but if you did, remove it and see if it works again.

    Do a separate support submission for GTO series and another separate support submission for the multiplayer issue. It will make sorting each problem easier to differentiate with different support tickets.

    Just a personal request to the powers that be that may or may not have any traction, here.

    Can the view height of the camera be raised a tad and can the in car view audio not sound like I'm driving under water?

    Great game, all things considered.

    I hear both of those things, among others, are under consideration by the dev team.
    They are taking any feedback very seriously and aim to improve things continuously for a long time to come.

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Rip73. I'm a "tad" new at this and wasn't sure the process in which to proceed.

    I submitted all info to Gameloft. Happy that I took screenshots a couple weeks ago as well as a few moments ago. As you can see in the pics, my status a few weeks ago and my status presently. Plus the Ferrari series is not available. I noticed on the GT 2 Facebook page, some purple are having the same problem as I am. I'm sure they will fix it. Thanks for all the help guys! I was hoping to be driving a the new Ferrari this weekend but I'm a patient man!

    I hope they do and it's not just fluff. The driver's view is the only issue I have with this game now and it really stinks. Since soft-launch, they've only added "cockpit-vibration". The dash needs to be lower with a better view of the road, motion sway, and slight head-turn in the direction when steering. Both 2k Drive and RR3 have this down pretty good.

    There should also be an option to qualify for a position at the starting grid, and dynamic weather on all tracks as well.

    ***For the 5s, they should do head tracking with the front cam.

    That's good to hear. I really like this game and being able to see a bit better would be the icing on the carcake.

    No problem. I think I have an answer for ya anyway.
    I should have put this in my original reply but it completely slipped my mind at the time.

    If you notice on the multiplayer leaderboard, there is a time clock.
    After the clock runs out, everybody gets rewarded according to their leaderboard position and then everybody gets reset to the starting score of 1300 which obviously resets ones leaderboard position.
    I think the norm will be a month.

    At least that's the impression I have of the the way its meant to be based on previous info. Its possible I'm wrong or something changed and that it turns out to be server issues (which are definitely happening at the moment) but I'm sure Ryan will let us know when he gets back from his holiday if this info is correct.

    So essentially the impression I have is that the leaderboard for multiplayer is a monthly tournament. It gets refreshed and all those active that month get rewarded. It varies from top 250 get 100 $ (in game currency) all the way 7000 in game $ currency to first.
    Now there may be variations on rewards by region, I'm not too sure and can't say that for definite. But rewards do apply for the top players who are actually active that month and on the leaderboard.

    Its a method to keep the leaderboard relevant and rewarding for each particular month. It also stops the early adopters from dominating and opens it up for anybody at all playing in that particular month to earn rewards.
    More or less anyway (disclaimer:)).
    Think of it as a month long tournament rather than a permanent leaderboard.

    I see that you have 500 more dollars in the gap between when you were on the board and when it was reset by those pictures and that might be your particular reward.
    There should have been a pop up at launch after the tournament ended saying you finished in whatever position and have been rewarded x amount.

    Of course, it looks like it might not be and that you got no reward from your leaderboard position (assuming you were in a reward paying position overall and not just against friends) in multiplayer and got those chips from the platinum series or just playing.
    You should use the steps I described in my original post to remedy that and contact support with the details, screenshots you have there and so on. They provide more than enough to support your case that you did not receive your appropriate multiplayer reward.
    Support should have no real problem determining where you finished when it ended fully and hopefully should be able to allocate you the proper reward if you didn't receive it.

    Sorry I didn't put this in the last post, it completely slipped my mind. Hopefully this does help and is accurate.
    Be sure and contact that support link if you got no reward, which it looks like you didn't, because I would assume you were at least in the top 20 (there was a last minute rush for positions and jostling of leaderboard).

    @weehoo, no its not fluff but bear in mind that the architecture is already built in for the internal camera and interior so their options are limited by that and there is only so much they can do without rebuilding the whole interior view code which would be very time consuming and may not necessarily possible.
    There are certainly things they can do and will do given time but it can't be said right now if it can be changed to the level you're probably looking for. Hopefully though.
    For Larni's requests (by the way Larni, note this game is a long term project for them that will be supported and developed long term and the feedback actually makes a difference to the teams at Gameloft these days), changing the camera height level and interior noise levels would be relatively easy, not simple but possible in a relatively easy way, but a complete reworking of the interior view will be a much larger task. Still possible but...?
    Anyway, they are definitely taking feedback seriously and making changes and testing them. Some will make it through but some won't. The interior tweaks appear to be a strongly requested one so I'd imagine there is plenty of work going on there.

    I'm a pretty patient guy. I'm usually very understanding. I am however losing my patience. Another update hit this morning. Yet, the error code 9 issue is still present. It's an issue that's been known since launch. GameloftRyan asked us to be patient. We have been. At what point is it ok to get pissed? I realize it's a free game. However, some of us used IAP to support the devs, or in my case because I was effected by the level up bug that caused me to lose out on hundreds of dollars in game cash (not to mention having to start all over, from being a level 62+ and 42% completed). That means it is NOT a free to play game. That makes me (us) paying customers for a product that doesn't work as advertised.

    At this point I'd like a real answer. No more vagueness. When is this going to be fixed?!?

    First off - I'm back from vacation!

    Second - Now that I'm back I'll have to try and reach out again. I completely understand being mad about something that has been an existing issue. For whatever reason switching over from the soft-launch to the worldwide launch has caused this issue and I haven't gotten an answer from the Devs yet on the timeline for a fix.

    I'm not trying to be vague on purpose but typically if I can't give an exact date or whatever for a specific issue it's because I'm still waiting to get that information from someone who is working directly on the game. Regardless of whether a game is free or paid, issues like this should be worked out and I'll be pushing on the Dev team to get concrete info on this.
