I'm looking to make a few cds of grunge hits so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I'll check back later and list some of what I already have.

Ned's Atomic Dustbin: Happy Grey Cell Green Not strictly grunge because they were just before it but like the Pixies, Ned's Atomic Dustbin influenced a lot of grunge bands.
Yeah, I was going to say Mudhoney's "Touch Me I'm Sick." Also, Sonic Youth's "Dirty" album has some good ones like "Sugar Kane," "Theresa's Sound World," and one of my all-time favorite songs, "Wish Fulfillment." Dinosaur Jr. is kind of grunge...check out "Little Fury Things."
I would say the "grungest" song they did on that album was "Gouge Away." Also one of their best songs, imo.
