You can start mass producing Josh, that is a fantastic job you've done there! amazing to see how it really takes off and flies for a while, just like in the game! Pam, I don't know who Mike is but are you sure that is a review for Ground Effect? if it wasn't for the pictures I'd have said it was some bloke's account of a night out!
I invented this too but its more like a hovercraft. It was tricky to sell it though... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66ez8dtyw_I I decided to get back into games but now you can see why I like Glenn's Ground Effect Game!
Ok, I read abit more, now I can say DEFINETLY! I hope Google Translate is having some problems here...
I think there should be a option to replace the ship models with cats. I found this pretty hilarious:
I love the way that thing handles. Many months back the craft in Ground Effect used to drift sideways almost like that with Thrust on the vertical tilt. It was a lot of fun to drive, drift sideways round a corner, tweaking the thrust but it was far too hardcore for even the simplest course when the gates went in. New users invariably lost interest before they could get through the first three gates, waving the device around, never really getting control. I spent a lot of time tweaking the controls and the level progression and it seems to work pretty well. Most people seem to improve at the controls as the levels get more difficult. I'm thinking that it might have been a good idea to keep some of those alternative tunings though. Maybe, just maybe, I'll put some back in a later rev...
now if you want something that hovers and flies - check this out! I'd like to see some drifting in another revision of the game, maybe from a vertical camera, that would be pretty cool...
Could be interesting! BTW have you changed some of the settings, available power... or else? Managed to beat best times on tracks 1 and 2 without too much sweat. Might just be these do mind you.
That's one of the awesomest things I've ever seen. Now i'm just trying to imagine that in full scale...
