A tip for anyone still thinking of trying the wordsearch When I made the wordsearch yesterday I used the names of 20 games. Nobody has yet found all of mine but at least one person found more than 20 because there happened to be several short app names in the random letters that pad out the puzzle! I haven't checked all of these for a) existing in the puzzle, b) existing in the app store and c) being games rather than apps, but I suspect the highest score is indeed over 20. There are still over 24 hours left to get your entries in. Remember, if you guys were to get organised and swap answers somehow you could force an 8 way tie for 3rd place (or a 10 way tie for 1st or a 9 way tie for 2nd) and force us to give out 10 codes
I'm helping Glenn out with a few things for his next game - which is somewhat like(and unlike) Ground Effect, but takes it to a different place altogether. I'm pretty excited about it - but its a little too early to say anything else. I can only devote a very small amount of time to it, as I'm pretty much engrossed in Ravensword 2, but I think its going to be cool.
Yeah, it's going to be very cool Josh and I have been bouncing concept stuff off each other for a few weeks now, all very exciting! More news to follow soon...
Teasing! Why would you tease us like that? We want details! (I'm kidding, can't wait to see what you have in store - good luck!)
Why do this without saying nearly nothing about the game, you just make me want to know more and mad i don't know more .
The question is, if they couldn't have said so much about the game, should they have said anything about it at all?
Well i know i'm going to forget about it in like 10 mins so i not that mad, i will be expect something really really good tho, and if it isn't...
I got the impression Josh is more than just an artist... Game concept, writer, art direction, and even a good musician. I was hoping Glenn's new project (he mentioned the other day) was another iPhone game and now we know. Both these guys are super talented and have also set high standards.
developer != programmer. Actually, I probably shouldn't have put that in such a "programmer" way There is a hell of a lot more to game development than programming!
