I got this game while it was on sale, and I really love the new update! I left my 5 star review in iTunes.
Don't normaly do double posts, but it's been a day since the post. I got the game at last and it's just great. I love it so much. Left a 5 star itunes review.
maybe if u turn on 3d mode, or make sure u have 3d glasses, the most simplist mistakes can be trouble some

Damn. I'm really angry now. I was thinking about getting this game, and just as I was about to purchase it, I saw it came back to $2.99. .. I only have $1.35 in my account. I thought it was a buck. Oh well. Any plans for a sale soon? I want to get this game! lol
It was .99 before the update but believe me this is every bit worth the 2.99 price tag and more. Pick it up when you can.
It's not even possible to change the price until after the holidays and even then, we're unlikely to. Being at $0.99 seemed to get us far worse ratings, presumably from people who didn't play for long enough to get through the first two "tutorial" levels that introduce the controls before the levels really start getting interesting. As you can see from the comments here, people who 'get' what Ground Effect is seem to love it. It's all about the controls, the smoothness and the feel of the craft interacting with the landscape. It starts off kind of serene and introduces the player to more and more absurdly technical levels of cliff edge hairpin bends, huge jumps and exploring for shortcuts while the opponents get tougher and tougher. It absolutely isn't just another wipeout clone. People who don't get it want guns, upgrades and a growling engine noise. They seem to play for the first level before dismissing it as being just like this boat racing game or that jetski racer. I have to face the fact that Ground Effect does not seem to work for a lot of truly casual gamers with very short attention spans so I will be keeping away from $0.99 in the future.
