I was reading the free version's to mean the survival mode just loops 8 different stages endlessly, but gets harder and harder. But not sure if I'm correct.
"Bulling" Wait hold on I think you misunderstood me. Yeah no doubt. I was just talking about ramming enemies while you're invincible. Bulling is the technical term!
Minter is not doing so great. He tweeted: And more. I wish these apps worked out for him, because he's made some pretty great ones.
I bought the full version of this game and I feel scammed. Why in the 7 hells the free version is AMAZING with superb controls and a great survival mode and the paid version has very bad controls in it and a dull gameplay! This game is not updated since February of the last year and it even still has Openfeint in it. Should I ask for a refund?
I'd say yes. And so should everyone else that got it thinking there would be 1:1 relative touch controls... Maybe Minter would update it if he saw that he's loosing money. =o/
I bought this game and got Super Ox Wars for free because of the deals forum. If not for that I'd be like the majority of ios gamers that don't know about llamasoft and these games. Without advertising it's easy for a well known dev to fail on the AppStore. Making super niche games with wonky menu systems and stuff doesn't help.
https://twitter.com/llamasoft_ox/status/313653068124262400 Good news from the Ox. Sounds like he's going to update the paid ver to include the 1:1 controls and the survival mode. Not that it matters, but he'll remove openfient as well. Can't wait for the update!
In the replies to that tweet I was going to call brown nosing, but that dude has a really good point. Kind of fun to think about trapping some developers in a room with nothing but their own games muah hah hah
Wow, finally good news today. Thanks for sharing information.. I'm so glad Minter didn't give up on Apple store! Even I don't mind original contols, 1:1 will be very welcome refreshment
I'm comfortable with the "expert" controls too. It sounds like he's adding the survival mode into the paid version, which is what I'm more happy about. That being said, it was a bit strange to me to have a free version that had one different control mode, and one extra game mode thats not in the paid version. I'm sure a lot of people were put off when they bought the paid version and saw what was missing.
Hmmm... I may have to re-install this when the update hits. I didn't care as much for the controls on the paid version like many folks... but I'm all for giving it a second chance.
Confirmed. I even tried using orientation lock but then the controls are reversed (up is down, left is right) so it's totally unplayable. Hopefully it will be fixed.
