With the mame app I used iTunes to copy over the 0.136 I think it is version of mame Roma With Providence, gba4ios, NDS and Gesrboy I downloaded Roma from the net and then used open with Well worth the money for non jail broken phones
So there is an app currently available in App Store that is a mame like gridlee? Can someone clarify and advise what it is? As gridlee stopped working over a year ago now and I had over 500 games working on there. Ive kept the ROMs just in case I can get them back. Gridlee was great as I could play via Bluetooth paired with my icade physical controller
Theres no app i know of in the app store with a hidden MAME emulator. However builds.io now have an updated MAME (Gridlee) which works very very well. I'm happy as they now finally have an updated MAME (Gridlee) for ios11. You can copy the 0.139 mame roms over via itunes. With Builds.io you pay about 10/12 dollars a year and can install their apps. Now they have MAME back (as it was previously only ios10) i'm happy as anything as its a great emulator. I still hang onto a crazy hope that on the last day of the app store before Xmas we'll have some hidden emulator but i think those days are gone. In an ideal world there would be a 64 bit Gridlee on the app store (there isnt) but this is the next best thing by far
still don't understand why until a couple of years ago (and before the coming of iOS 8.3 lock) we had emus on the AppStore, and now that world seems dead forever?!?!!? do devs know that there's a great feature called iTUNES SHARING that bypass iOS locks?????? is too intricate to open iTunes file sharing in every app??? why this feature is provided by a few devs only??? it's good also for saves backup of every game, can't understand why devs don't want to use it!!! what a weird world!!!
I think you press exit and option at the same time to get to the menu. There you can change the speed Probably also a good chance Sega releases Streets of Rage 2 in the future
Ever since iOS went fully 64-Bit, I’ve really missed having Gridlee on my iDevices. I just pray that someone out there can complie a 64-Bit version of Mame4ios with iTunes side loading and sneak it into the App Store, one more time... one day.
I use MAME from builds.io Best $10 I’ve spent (per year). My old MAME games are all back now as I missed that app !
Yep. I've just got the latest iphone, latest OS. You do have to pay again if you switch devices (due to the way their system works) but again its well worth it. Having MAME, Gameboy back again, Moviebox and many other apps is brilliant as i've really missed MAME ! Provenance is another great app. Again well worth it
