But I thought on 8.3 you couldn't use iexplorer etc ? So you can't add any other games to it can you ?
I used the iBackupBot method for iOS 8.3 and it seems like some of the games used to work, and now they don't for some reason Edit: only the games that are listed after Gridlee alphabetically work properly
Thank you for the response. I have looked online after online for everything. They say Google everything, but here Google does not find what I am looking for. I cannot find any of these Gridlee roms with the CHD files at all period. Unless I need to resort to some uturrent website. Any suggestions or help please would be gladly appreciated? Ummm maybe just delete these Gridlee/Mame4iPhone apps to use Builds.io? Thanks, DBrown
I didn't try iExplorer after the latest update. I updated the iPad to the latest release with Gridlee and it works.
That's what I've discovered. The app is basically dead, as it needs to be updated to add the functionality, but it can't, obviously, due to being pulled. A shame, as I thought it would live forever on my devices. I'm currently jailbroken and have Mame4iOS installed, but I'll miss it, when I update to iOS 9. Someone needs to sneak the latest version into the store again, with all the iOS 9 requirements.
So I had to downgrade itunes than reupdate again. I think maybe in that shuffle apple deleted gridlee? Because I can't find it in my purchases history. I got the ipa from the net and the app is now on my ipad and working. Problem is when I first set everything up, NARC worked. Now it freezes on the warnings screen. It worked before I installed mame4ios. Now it doesn't work on either. I guess if I factory reset and do the whole jailbreaking thing allll over again maybe it will erase whatever mistake I made. Any ideas why this one game freezes now?
There's a way to get Gridlee installed on iOS 9.0.1, with file sharing enabled! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKxohxCON1I
saw the video, but i would like to know if file sharing through iExplorer, iFunbox or DiskAid works fine again with all the other emus/apps, mostly with those purchased from the AppStore... too risky to upgrade to iOS 9 from 8.2 (i have installed original Gridlee and many other legit emus from AppStore), i have serious doubts.
I did start installing, but got a bit paranoid about the permissions you have to grant the developer.
Yeah, there is that. Not the best solution, but it's the only one thus far, without needing a jaikbreak.
Can this solution be revoked by Apple, similar to some of the other emus? Also, has any one experienced any issues with iOS 9 and the iCade?
Yes, it can be revoked, which I guess(not 100% sure) only affects installation. If already installed then the app should continue to work, unless you restore your device.
