Gridlee doesn't even use Dynarec JIT, imagine if it could :)

    Gridlee Emulator!

I am getting the same thing Acic with it missing CHD files! I don't think this app works anymore, because I can't get anything to work period. Can anyone confirm this?

It still works for me. You must be using the wrong rom set. (Each build of Mame needs totally different roms).

I've just booted Gridlee on my iPhone non-JB latest ios updated and it works just fine. I tried World Rally Championship and Milemiglia. Which games are giving the "missing CHD files" problem? EDIT: I also have iMAME from when it was released two years ago and it works fine too. As Glorkbot mentioned, check the ROM files and make them match the MAME version. I remember I had to use one specific web page for iMAME.

iMAME plays a lot less games, but is easier to find the roms for it than .139 that Gridlee uses. The catch is you can not install iMAME or Gridlee on a non jail broke device unless:

To install on a non JB device, you have to have already installed the app on a device using the same account you were using and still have the exact specific app file saved. That file is linked to your account, so is a signed app even though removed from the app store. IF you saved the ipa file. The exact one. If you have it, you can install it to a non JB device using the exact same account.

FYI - Original app store Gridlee still works great on iOS 8 and iPhone 6.

Yeah, I make sure I always have Gridlee installed, as well as iMAME which works perfectly, even if it's 4:3 ratio only.

Someone needs to sneak Retroarch or an updated Gridlee/iMAME4all into the App Store, so things would be complete, with MFI support. Things would then be complete.

People can't list rom sites as its not allowed. Gridlee is very popular so it should be easy I find the right romset

Ok, well I found a site with the correct ROMs, but in still having issues. Heritage of the future is playing incredibly choppy, but I'm using a 5s, so I thought I would be fine. Does anyone know if there is something I can do to fix this?

Jailbreak and install the MAME version from Cydia. It's smoother because it can access memory as root (or something like that I remember readingÂ…)

I mostly play the older classics but i must admit even Out Run on my iphone 4s runs badly (put up the speed a bit which helps)

But if you try playing any 'hefty' late 80's or early 90's games it may struggle.

Still incredible to have 100's of classic arcade machines on my phone. This apps the best with an iCade though by far

I guess it's just because you are a developer and you are testing your own app. Right?
    Thanks
