Is multiplayer in this version? I can't find it, but I saw Seleuco added it a while ago in mame4ios reloaded.
There's no way to do multiplayer on this version. You need a wiimote and you can't do that unless you have a jailbroken device.
That's not due to the app itself but the version of mame and the limitations of the hardware it's being run on. It's quite possible in the next generation of idevices that some of these games will run much better.
^CPS3 games like SFIII work fine on iPhone 5 if you turn on "Very Aggressive" speed hack. BTW 2nd Impact is easier to play because it has one buttons throws and overheads. Does anyone out there have any basic questions about getting Gridlee working? I haven't been reading this thread too carefully but I'd like to help out for a day or two maybe just send me a PM. 1 mil
Thanks for the reply. I assume one player is the on screen controls and one is the iMpulse? What about an Icade and on screen?
No. You can use two iMpulse controllers at the same time, one for player1 and the other for player 2. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/852638998/impulse-game-controller-and-key-finder-pocket-acce/posts/341531
Hi Seleuco, please can you tell if it´s possible to save scores in this version? I tried everything and googled everywhere but I can´t and I start to think is not possible but you sure know better. My last guess was to copy a dats folder in the Gridlee.app like in the iMame but I cant do that
@Seleuco: Can you connect the iMpulse controllers to Macbook Pro or iMac? If so then I'll be getting two of them
I have to say, I love the tounge in cheek reviews on the App Store for this. I've been having tons of success after digging around the interwebs a tad. I can never get enough Bouble Bobble in my system. But oh, the woes of not having Play-Choice 10 games work And the un-solvable pity that is not getting any Capcom fighting game to work Man, wouldn't my life be swell if someone randomly decided to help me with these two things, possibly via a PM. But it's not like anyone would do that for a rambling modern era retro gamer. Now, back to my Bouble Bobble marathon!
Ah, I see. Thank you for the clarification. And a big thank you for all your work with mame4ios and getting it into the app store!
