Does it matter that the ipad4 and mini use lightning cables?

    Sorry everyone.
Everything in my previous posts on this what a mistake on my part.
The one recommended to me by Delusionaltool was "Street Fighter 3: Alpha".
That one runs great and without speed hacks which is necessary for me on SF3:TS

    Sorry about the confusion.

It makes no difference. It connects wireless through Bluetooth.

If I can find enough people that want them ill make some units for sale. I need to get about 5 or 6 people at least before its worth buying all the parts needed to complete the project. The units would be $120/ea plus $10 shipping in the USA. I know it's expensive but the Sanwa parts will cost me about $50-60 per unit plus the cost of the unit itself $40. It takes me about 2 hours to mode each one so I'd be doing it for very little profit. Mainly just out of love for modding and arcade machines.

Great fun and a challenge playing with touch controls on Ipad. I'll never beat my mame cab scores!

I'd buy one, but a quick question: how's the lag between controller input and onscreen effect? I ask because I have a Moga controller for my Galaxy S3, and there's a microsecond of lag. Thanks!

I don't notice any lag but then again I wouldn't notice a microsecond with most of the games I play. You'd just have to try it out and see for yourself. I'm guessing Bluetooth in general probably adds a minimal amount of lag by itself then again the ps3 uses Bluetooth and I don't hear of people complaining about that so your mileage may vary.

Nice unit, but it makes me cringe, lol. American happ controls on a Japanese arcade machine is a no-no in the candy community. Also repurposing it with mame decals would make most candy cab owners cringe. But it's been done in good taste so it's not too bad. I had 2 neo 29s in my game room. Loved having giant 29" screens inches away from your face. Made the games that much more enjoyable. But using my ipad 3 and the icade core with Sanwa controls makes me not even miss those candy cabs. IMO the icade core with a high res screen and being blue to sit in my favorite recliner and play anytime I want is a huge advantage over a stationary machine. I can watch gold rush, Bering sea gold, etc while playing games in comfort, IMO that's worth it's weight in gold :)

Please tell me you didn't drill holes in the side for buttons for pinball games. And what are those two buttons on the bottom of the bezel? Have you ever used Sanwa joysticks and buttons? It's hard to do rapid fire with happ controls, IMO. The buttons are just too deep for my tastes.

Oh man the more I look at your machine the more it pains me. Is that a 19" monitor inserted into the 25" monitor spot with a bezel around it to take up the extra space? Man I would like a week with your machine and $500 to work with and I'd have that thing looking brand new again. I see there's some cracks in the control panel also, ahh damn. It's not my machine, it's not my machine, it's not my machine, ha!

Do as I did, sir. Read the first 15 pages of this thread, take notes, and proceed. Heck, if *I* can do it, anyone can.

Here's my 1 coin score in gigawing. As you can see gigawing has some pretty ridiculous scores. 22.47 billion. And that was on the first stage. Lol.

Ok here's what I've got going on right now. I have a few icade cores on the way to me and can get a few more if needed. I have 1 sold and will need to order parts on Monday unless I have the color buttons you want on hand already. These units will be modded with Sanwa jlf joysticks with octagonal restrictor plates, I can use the square one instead if requested. The color of ball and buttons is optional and you can pick and choose which colors you'd like. The price for a fully modded stick is $120 + $10 shipping for a total of $130 a unit. This will get you a fully modded joystick that can be used with any Bluetooth enabled device (ie tablet or phone). Just pm me with the details and ill begin working on them next week. With the cost of parts this gives me a grand total of $20 profit per unit and it takes roughly 2 hours to mod each unit so I will be doing this in my spare time after work for fun instead of profit.

I finally found out where Curious found the sensitivity settings.
Unfortunately, the reason it didn't work for me earlier when I wrote the quoted post, is because the option screen for Analog Controls doesn't appear on all games, in fact, I've only seen it once, and that was in the game Sinistar, whic for some reason is one of the very few games that won't run for me.

The options screen looks like this:

I think it's very rare to find these options in the games.
    I wish they were universal..

Man, I would really like one! It's fairly cheap, I must say.
I suspect it would be too much hassle to ship all the way to Denmark though.. :)
