Do some research with google and you will find out its not really that hard. You will found the needed help in this thread also. And we cant give links mate, since its not allowed. Anyways you need neo geo bios to download and put it to roms folder. Then get some neo geo roms for mame and you are ready to go.
We should have a little friendly competition. The rules for the competition are as follows: 1. The game being played must be lag free. Unless lag was built into the game by the developers. Ie: Metal Slug 2. 2. Only 1 coin allowed. For games that require more than one coin, only 1 full credit is allowed. 3. Game must be played using either the on screen controls or icade like device using your idevice. This means no pc mame scores are allowed. 4. No cheating allowed. 5. Game must be played with the default settings. 6. A screenshot must be posted in order to qualify. 7. Only games played on gridlee are allowed, no previous release of mame or the jailbroken version of mame4ios reloaded allowed. The rules are simple, using one coin what's your best score?
So I was wondering, what are all the favorite games any of you guys got working and if you have any obscure recommendations. (Im not sure if this is permissible talk or not so if its not let me know) There have been a ton of games that were put out in arcades when we were younger and there are bound to be rare gems that we forgot about or didnt know existed. For Ms.Pacman and Galaga 20 year aniversary bundle you have to press "right" to play Galaga, but there is only the B button in the MAME emu. Any hints?
They have these types of competitions for the old coleco table tops like Ms.Pacman, Donkey Kong etc. Unfortunately, the ONLY way to truly verify things is to video the entire thing. I mean if you're game for trusting the integrity of the community I'm game
Is it possible to force 2 control sticks (for Robotron) instead of a stick and 4 buttons? No problem getting it working or editing .cfgs vie itools but no idea how the app decides what controls to put up. Thanks for any tips. Robotron on my iphone and ipad would be so nice.
I have been following this thread since its inception so I apologize if this had been covered. Is there anyway to get rid if the copyright warning that comes up when you start a game that requires you to move the joystick to the left and right?
ok, ive freaking tried just about every Street Fighter III third strike , no cd mame versions to chd versions i cant even get the chd version to load like others have and i know ive put the right chd files in the zip...ive even tried making my own zips!... someone if you have gotten this to work could explain it to me in a pm, thanks... its the only game i cant get to work its so FRUSTRATING... why cant the pc tricks i do with mame work on here ahhhhh!
Aero Fighters 2 / Sonic Wings 2 Great Shmup. High score made on third attempt. Didn't use my iCade. A screenshot of the first Boss: Highly recommended game. I've also got the sequel, but haven't given it a go yet.
In addition to the NSS, there's also the Super Famicom Box which had combo carts of multiple SNES games. The bios loads fine BTW, the games themselves--no dice. The NSS games run at pretty much full speed on my iPad4 (Contra III and F Zero yes, SMW a little less so) but if anyone tries them, hope you like noise music, because that's pretty much all you'll be listening to. Also, occasional random sprites are missing or glitched.
