1st of all, thanks to everyone for guidance! I was curious in testing a certain ROM, is it possible to put all that are available into the folder? Does the correct one supersede the others or do I have to give each one a try individually? Thanks!!!
It's great to see so many characters in the old games that enjoy sporting beards. Not stubble. Big angry beards. Game characters were harder back then

I'll try it on some other games. While I enjoy the nostalgia of these video games, I didn't get to play much when I was a kid. I usually watched others play. So it will take a bit of time for me to get a score that will make it into some of the games' high scores. If it doesn't save it for other games, I'm sorry for the confusion.
By the way, I'm having trouble getting SNES games to run. I ran a search on this thread and I placed the nss.zip file in the ROMs folder. I also placed the SNES ROMs in the same folder, but I can't see the games on the list. I must be missing a step. Can someone help me fill in the blanks? Thanks.
Speed Hacks Pemanent Does anyone know if it's possible to modify the .cfg files for a given game to get the speedhacks to stick? There are a couple of games that play fine on my iPad 2 with speedhacks enabled (Dragon Blaze and WWF Wrestlemania for example) but the program doesn't seem to retain that setting between sessions. I opened the .cfg files and found that there doesn't seem to be anything in them referencing the speedhacks. However, I changed the mono speaker DB setting in WWF and that one was written there, so the games themselves seem to support it. Anyone know what metadata to use for the speedhacks?
Thank you for helping me out, sir! Cant wait to get that gametel. Sharing my experitations once i get it.
http://www.retro-burner.co.uk/text%20lists/list109.txt On that list Snes games are not working, only Nes from playchoice ones. Maybe someday a Snes emu will be in the appstore like this one
Actually, it took 74 pages and 3 hours to find the answer to my question, thanks for all the help anyways... And even after reading ALL of the pages I STILL have questions and issues so it's not like all the answers are so readily available just by simply reading through the thread. Anyways.. heres what I got to work so far just by finding the individual zip files, theres still a ton of games I cant get to work (crusin' usa, metal slugs, marvel vs SF, xmen, etc) so I'm still pretty frustrated. Side Note: To everyone who has the missing files error, the #1 answer you'll get is "you have the wrong version". This is NOT always the case. For example, I got my "wrong version" of Marvel VS Capcom to work simply by putting in capcom bios. I think capcom bios was mentioned once in this thread. Definitely not in the first 10 pages either. My point? the "regulars" of this thread could do better at giving people more information instead of "go read" because not all the info is here. I'm sure I could get more games working simply by putting in more bios.
You can get SNES games to work. They wouldnt show up for me until I tapped the options > settings button and turned off the "hide not working" setting. It says they dont work, but with a little speed hack its most definitely playable. The sound is crap, but its playable.
