Hi, has anyone found out if you can configure the fire buttons to do rapid fire or continuous fire? The option was available in the imame app that came out last year, but I haven't found out where the option is in gridlee. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Artwork?

Has anyone gotten artwork to show? I've tried adding the .zip archive to the /Artwork folder but no images are shown.

Is this a version specific to 139u1 or are you using a current one successfully?

You have to check if the ROM you are using is the one the artwork was made for. There are different ROMs....

How are people getting games like Mario, and Metal Slug to work? I cant get Mario1, 2, or 3 to work, none of the metal slugs, none of the marvel vs games, the simpsons, and none of the xmen games :( but I can get games like DBZ2, megaman2, nba jam, sonic (although its really slow), and tmnt to work. Someone wanna point me in the right direction?

yeah you need the playchoice-10 bios for the nintendo.
you need the neogeo bios for metal slug.
once you find them put the zips in the roms folder.

Finally got those playchoice 10 games working! Just mapped the enter button for coin and voila. Thanks to this helpful thread. :) Anyways this is how you do it:
Open up playchoice 10 game like super mario brothers 3 when the game starts press coin+start--> input (this game)--->Enter--->then press coin button
Once you press coin button (when you have mapped that enter button) the screen will go black. Then press coin button couple of times again and the game will go back to main screen of the game. Press start and you are ready to go! Have fun. Hope this helps playchoice 10 problems.

PS. Sorry about my weird english but Im from Finland and my english skills are not the best ones. :D

Downloaded this as soon as I saw it was available. I had missed out on the iMAME when it came out. I didn't get a chance to play around with it until last night. I am using it on and iPad Mini and was able to find the 139u1 ROM set that had the bios files included. I ran into a weird issue and I want to see if others are having the problem or if it is specific to my settings or the iPad Mini.

When I run a game such as Donkey Kong in portrait mode with Full Screen enabled the image of the joystick ball is huge and takes up a good portion of the screen.

I have tried various vertical games in portrait mode and they all appear to behave this way. When I run Donkey Kong in horizontal mode with Full Screen enabled the image is fine.

Has anyone else experienced this? When I run in portrait mode with Full Screen disabled the controls show up correctly at the bottom.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

I dont think i understand what you are asking. How else do you want the on-screen controls? They need to go somewhere. Either they overlap the game play area (with full screen) or they appear below if you turn off full screen. If you buy an icade you can run games in full screen with no on screen controls. Thats about as good as it gets.

This whole thing is pretty dope, but until my iCade comes and this emulator gets better speed, PSP3000 model is still the best handheld for emulation ever created. At least this app has better controls for games like Metal Slug than the official releases.

has anyone tried an alternative button mapping for Guerrilla War? the character rotation is unavailable, impossible to play without this feature

Just so others know. Neo Geo and CPS 2 are emulated flawlessly. Plenty of games between those two platforms to keep you busy for a while.

All the street fighters on CPS 2 are running full speed on an iPad 3, and the Neo Geo games as well for that matter.
