If I get Roms on my iPod will I be able to get them on my iPhone via iCloud? Or syncing?

I wonder if it is even worth it to try to get NES and Genesis (and maybe NeoGeo) games to play on my iPad 1, or if it is just way too slow?

I got this working! Got a Super Mario rom, it's quite laggy, though. I did the exact same with a few other roms; nothing is happening? anyone know why?

Specifically talking about Super Mario World, not SMB1-3. Sound is all out, and I don't know how to apply any speed hacks. Frame skipping does nothing either. :/

Speed hacks are easy. Press Coin/Start when youre in the game, go down to 'Speed Hacks' (or press up twice). I've tried 'high' for some games (Eg Out run/afterburner) and they then work very well.

Give it a go and see if it works for you

I changed it to high for Super Mario - still jumpy, playable though.

Can someone tell me how to check if the rom will work? Like how to check for the 0.139? Sorry first time with emulators. Did a lot of trial and error and only ended up with nba hang time and street fighter

The site you download them should say what rom version they are, if they dont its a case of trial and error, put them on your ipod/iphone and check to see if it works

Actually so glad I risked using this app! For anyone contemplating using it.. DO IT! I am an idiot and I managed it, it is idiot proof. All you do is literally drag and drop.

Yep, it also causes the downfall of lots of countries in the world, it might make Jupiter/Saturn explode into smithereens as well.

Seriously you arent jailbroken, its just a normal app. All you're doing is transferring files into a folder onto an app.

If you are paranoid then just delete the app before you send your gadget back to apple as it'll be backed up on your own itunes.

Although sarcasm is a hard thing to detect online, the latter part is obviously sarcasm. However, in all seriousness does it void my warranty?

Edit: Just seen the part underneath it. Ah thanks! Almost had a heart attack before you added the paragraphs underneath hahah!

It wont void your warranty. I sent my ipod in for repair a while back, left iMAME on it, didnt matter. They just fixed what was needed (screen) and i got it back all intact.

If you jailbreak your phone it'll void your warranty, but thats whats so good when an app like Gridlee hits the app store, as we can download it on non-jailbreaked devices

    Help please

I'm new to rom on iOS, got this up and running, and assume the .rom files that come with rom packages, such as neogeo.rom need to be placed in gridlee somewhere, can anybody om me to help? I'm stuck.

Files needs to be zipped first and then placed in the roms folder of gridlee!

    Good tip:
If you don't know what you're doing, it's better to do some research first!
