Without asking where to get ROMs, are people using v0.139 or is there a v0.139u1 set of ROMs? Are people using ClrMAMEPro if they have updated ROM sets? Hope this doesn't violate forum rules...
Thanks, I got that version working and I finally figured out how to get Punchout!!! arcade version working! Just press the start+coin combo to enter the emu settings, and select Display Options. From there select Default Over Under, and the game will display properly
"B" Button Troubles I'm not sure if I did something or not, but now, every time I hit the "B" button, certain games play a sound. TMNT - Plays "cowabunga" every time I jump Tower of Doom - Plays "welcome to D&D" every time I attack Darkstalkers - Plays some strange sound every time I attack Any ideas?? Thanks!!
I'm just using whatever I can get a hold of using my good friend Google. Which are probably the latest ROM sets. That may be why Galaga was a fail for me.
That's where I'm at. I have old stuff which won't work. I haven't been into emulation in a while. I have purchased a number of the old games from the AppStore (Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Atari, and a few others), but they don't seem to have the same feel as the MAME games. I'm looking into ClrMAMEPro to see if I can convert.
Yep that part I got. The only problem I am having is that when I press start it doesn't start the game (because you need a different button press for start player 3 for example). But even when I set start player 3 to controller right + start it doesn't work. I press "B" and it works but then the game starts with me controlling player 1 AND player 3, lol. The reason is "add coin player one is set to just "coin button" so when I press right + coin it adds a coin to player 1 AND player 3. The only way around this I found was to delete add coin for player 1 but that takes one option away. I am a sucker for sentiment and I know I could just get the 2 player version but I like actually playing the 4 player version of the arcade.
Yeah, that's how I choose my character as well. Although, on TMNT there's an even easier way in the cheat menu. Although, this trick is also great for X-Men Arcade too.
Just tested soul caliber, after putting speed hack to high (anything higher then that makes the controls completely responsive) and adjusting the frame skip along with resolution the game runs decently. Nowhere near as great as the iOS version though.
I'm loving this! Played Guwange while waiting for my coffee this morning. Epic. Is anyone else having problems with loading multiple versions of the same title. After the 1st is loaded the other don't appear (clones & "not workin" switched off)

Just wanted to say thanks for catching this game! This could be my replacement for fba and imame4all without jail breaking! Having a cheat feature is great, don't know if it was in the other 2.
Could someone PM or reply please. I opened the game after putting the roms on my phone, click coin and start and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong???Do i have to be jailbroken?
