Honestly, I could just use MAME on the PC and play all my favourites just fine without all this hassle.
I was wondering if anyone got the following games to work. Arkanoid Battle Zone DigDug Galaga Marble Madness Pacman (Midway) Tempest I don't know if these games had been updated since v0.139 making the current roms non-functional on Gridlee. Older ones do not work. Thanks.
Used some of the knowledge here and Google to get Neo Geo, SNES, and Playchoice 10 games to work. Thanks guys.
Anybody notice anything wierd with full screen portrait mode? Mine has a giant joystick that covers 2/3rds of the screen (running iPad 4, ios6). EDIT: This appears to only happen on button layout A.

anyone know how to get PGM games running? i got the bios it seems to work but the game doesn't appear im trying to get demonfront running.

Thanks. I just found out that greyed out doesn't mean that it doesn't work. Pacman Midway version does work. Galaga gave me the error message so it may mean that there might be a difference between 0.139 and 0.147.
With a proper rom set every single thing I've thrown at it works perfectly! Also TV out with a 8-bitty make me a happy camper! Remapped the coin to the "select" button and P1 start to the "start" button and all is well!
Been having trouble getting the Players Choice 10 games working. I put the Players Choice 10 BIOS in the roms folder, but still no luck.
OK, here is my guide in getting the Playchoice 10 games to work: First, put the Playchoice 10 BIOS into the roms folder. Then place any playchoice 10 games you want in the roms folder as well. When you click to play the playchoice 10 game, you should be able to get to the title screen, but nothing else. Go into settings by pressing coin and start simultaneously, into input for this game, and map enter to a unused button (I used the Y button). Now at the unresponsive title screen, press coin, the screen will go black, then press your mapped enter button until the title screen comes back, and you should be able to start the game. Hope this helps!
