How to turn off the auto-slowdown? I just keep hitting walls. I can't even finish the first map after trying more than 30 times...This game really doesn't fit me at all. I'm giving up. I've just updated to iOS 11 for this game, and now I get this, немношка disappointed...

Thanks again for a great game.
    One request from me in terms of possible future control options would be;
Tilt control, auto-accelerate and just press anywhere to brake.
Always found that the perfect option for touch screen devices. It worked very well in dare I say it Real Racing 3.....! Now deleted by the way
    Thanks again

Anyone else having problems with iCloud sync? My iPhone does not seem to see the progress from my iPad.

Firstly - what an absolutely awesome game. Seriously brilliant. Been playing all day!! Can’t recommend it highly enough

Secondly - couple of suggestions: as the above poster said, auto accelerate with touch to brake would be my preferred option.

Also my phone (7 plus) gets SO hot and the battery drains so quick- is there any way to make the graphics more scalable? Perhaps a drop in resolution for the plus model? (Animal Crossing has that option rather strangely!!)

Regardless- this is now the standard for iOS releases. We can only hope more AAA titles come (looking at you Skyrim...)

Almost even more important: LOCAL multiplayer via WiFi or BT or both. Thx in advance!

How do you shift gears in Drag Races while using the wheel. I’m using an IPhone SE. Nevermind, found out you have to tilt the phone up or down to shift! Devs, if your listening, can you consider adding another control option to shift gears when using the wheel and an option to use arrows for steering on IPhone SE?

All okay on iPad Pro 12.9" 2nd gen. Could easily win the first race and it seems to break from alone. (On the lowest difficulty setting.) Looks good, sounds good, controls (all standard settings—yes I'm strong enough to hold the iPad for a long time) good.

Just one little remark. The first additional download is "more german language files" (or called something like this). When the dl is ready there is an iOS text window with "restart the game for the new files to be installed correctly" (or something similar). But obviously this wasn't necessary because I dared to start the game anyway (with two more free IAP downloads) and race. And all files (even acoustic speech) is pretty in German, even the number plates on some cars. Pretty long loading times.

Didn't regret buying until now. Can't await local multiplayer. I'm sure that there will be a setting that you decide when to break.

Uhm… There are some spoken hints (German as well) shortly before the race starts but they are cut off before the text is finished. Minor error obviously.

I had about 30 minutes to play during my lunch break today... early impressions from a total newbie in racing games :

First of all my experience was on an iPad pro 10.5 inches (this year's model obviously since theres only one) with a nimbus MFi controller.

Last racing game I played was .... Need For Speed Underground 2 ? or Gran Turismo 4 ? Dunno which one is more recent....

Game looks FABULOUS, seriously, it doesn't even feel like an iOS game, its wicked ! Gameplay seems very smooth as well, I don't know how ''realistic'' the drive is (again im not a veteran in racing games) but it definitely is SUPER responsive and sensitive.

I... I s*** at it, I really do, finished my first race 11th position after screwing up my turns like a madman, almost glad the game automatically breaks for me on casual (even though I feel its taking the control away from me as a player) since I think I would have done even worse without auto-break.

It's definitely FUN though, really enjoying it, already noticed that AIs are not all acting the same, is there a lot of different AI setups ? Sure feels like it, which is amazing, some are ready to easily cut me 2 inches from my bumper, some others look so cautious they keep some weird distance between me and them. I can already understand why TA praised the AI in their review, its very well done.

Theres a lot of game modes available, looks like the game forces you to play all of them to progress, to some it will be a hindrance for sure but I dont mind, I like changing the pace of what I do to not make it feel redundant.

Very surprised, especially since I thought I wouldn't buy it at first, glad I did, i'll play more tonight and maybe leave some additional comments if I feel it would make sense to do so. Truly pleasant to have literaly a full last-gen console game with NOTHING left out on my iPad, thats what we need, more of that.... MUCH MORE.

Thank you Feral for your hard work, only downside I would give is that the game definitely eats your battery like a bag of chips, I can hardly imagine the battery drain on an older device since I have what would be considered the stronger iOS device at this point in time (along with the iphone X). Looking at the game and playing it definitely makes one understand why the game drains so much in the end, theres no way such a beautiful game wont drain haha.

If anyone is on the fence for this : this is worth every single penny you can throw at it, its the most premium experience I had on iOS in YEARS. That was a longer read than expected sorry about that guys... havent been that excited for a game in while :D

Before you rate 1 star for being bad at the game and not trying to go through the game's options.

In customised difficulty you can change the handling, thats how you remove auto break, it took me less than 1 minute to find, youre welcome.

Switched to manual transmission and love it and even The controls for it which is a nudge up or down
But I have noticed and it seems almost frequent that when shifting up a gear it will do it down instead sometimes and I am doing it in the right direction
I will try it some more and make sure it’s not me
Is there another way to shift besides the nudge which like I said I don’t mind it just when it works right
It certainly made it even more challenging but in a good way

Okay played more and yeah about half way through first lap it just stops working and I’m stuck in reverse and neutral and it won’t shift right
Now is this because I have damage set to effect performance and I’m hurting my transmission and that’s the cause just not sure so I will try it with damage set to not effect performance

Once i pass the set deadzone even one degree, the car steers like i crazy so i cant turn into light turns and keep wallbumping. Please someone help (no tilt, no arrows)

    Race Length, Steering Assist

In the Toucharcade post, the poster notes the races are long. Can someone comment on the length of the races?

And how difficult is steering? Is there a steering assist option?

Just not sure I want to take up 6 gig on my 64gig iPhone for a game that may be to hard core for me.

No, not enough processing power and ram, forget it, even the 6s is borderline and its murdering its battery.

Theres plenty of steering assist options, only did the first few races so far and i did Touring races, they were roughly 7 minutes each for me (3 laps of 2-2:30 mins)

    Steering Deadzone
Adjusts the size of the non-responsive “dead” area around the centre of your wheel’s rotation; movements within this area will not cause the car to turn. Increase this setting to give you more "play" around the centre of the wheel.

    Steering Saturation
adjusts the sensitivity of the wheel. Increase this setting to reduce the amount you have to rotate the wheel to turn the car a given amount.

    Steering Linearity
With linearity set to 0, the in-game steering will respond consistently throughout the full turning arc of the wheel. Increasing this setting reduces the sensitivity of the wheel at the center of its turning arc and increases it at the edges.
    ========

I suspect as you are getting it feeling to sensitive around the middle I'd turn the Linearity up further towards 1 however try both ways perhaps you'll prefer it the other way round :)

I would also turn down (or reset) the dead zone if you have it too high you'll get no turning at all then a huge leap. The dead zone should be high enough that your car doesn't accidentally drift when you touch the steering on a straight but not so much that small steering inputs are ignored.

Im bought for 6s and I dont suggest to 6s owners. Yeah its work but with lowest graphic settings. Game looks meh! on 6s. There is no audience, there is no even a pilot in cars! Also I can see pixels on the car even with hd textures. Well probably hd textures also not work on 6s.

Thats probably why developers dont suggest for 6s owners. I dont how looking on SE but maybe with lower resouliton we can see better graphics and audience, pilots etc. It would be good, if there will be resoluiton settings.

Hey there Feral... Could you or maybe a happy TA member around here detail to me the difference between the different Handling Assist settings ? Thanks :)

gas and brake pedals use 3d touch on supported devices. i 'believe' the arrows do as well if you use that steering option
