It interferes with my braking while using tilt and evidently also obstructs the steering of some wheel users. I'd be cool with just having the option to remove it from the screen altogether (like you can all other HUD functions) and controlling my teammate from the pause menu. Happy Holidays
How do I turn on assists? Im looking for some sort of braking assist. Ive searched in the settings, but I cant find any assists. Are there any? If so, where can I find them?
You need to change the handling assist, the breaking assist will be with the first 2 levels of it. Theres no way to just turn on the braking assist by itself.
This Also, PLEASE numerical values on the sensitivity sliders to help us fine tune our controls and also post optimal ones for various cars with ease.
Just bought... Every time I want to download the DLCs and the the HD Textures it says "Failed to Purchase..." What should I do? I re-installed it without any effect...
Happy New Year! I think that's a good idea. We're looking into this for you. The sliders in iOS settings are controlled by Apple, so we can't add custom numbers there. But if this changes in future we'll definitely see what we can do. Bluetooth woes I have a pair of oticon opn 1 hearing aids that I can stream sound via Bluetooth from my iPad Pro. When I start grid I get the sound ok but the game crashes (freezes) soon after the loading screen has done and whilst in the menu screen. If I start the game with Bluetooth off the game loads and plays ok. If I then enable Bluetooth while the game is running, it plays ok but the audio is warbled. Has any one got this problem with any Bluetooth enabled headset? Or is only with my hearing aids. I have no problem with audio on any other apps or games, I have contacted support and their only suggestion was to reset the game settings which doesnt help. Steve
Got to love Kimi, Motorsport needs more like him. A Happy New Year to the team, Grid and my new Nimbus continues to be a winning combination. IPad Pro 9.7 could still do with a touch of optimisation when racing in the pack tho.
Is there anyway to get this to run on an iPad Air 2 yet? Really holding me back even though I have an iPhone 7 that I could use.
No, the iPad Air 2 is under our minimum specification for support. It sounds like it's a hardware issue with how your hearing aids work with iOS is causing an issue. We cannot make it happen with a large variety of bluetooth headsets that we use for testing so it's hard to help without owning the specialist hearing aids. If you could email support with links to the manufacturers page we could perhaps contact them and find out if they have specific hardware features that could cause issues perhaps with frequency support etc.
How do i remove 3d touch? Its very annoying with 3d touch, how do you disable it? It kinda hard to play with 3d touch cuz u need to hold hard to gas or turn(arrow control)
You can't disable 3D Touch for Arrow Controls at the moment, but we're going to see if we can add this in the next patch for you. No news at the moment.
Anyone have any tips on controlling your teammate? No matter how I tell him to drive, he always ends up last or next-to-last. I'll even check his bio/stats and try to factor that in, but it doesn't do any good. If I have him drive safe or balanced, everyone passes him. If he drives more aggressive, he wrecks and everyone passes him. I've played for hours (currently season 08, level 9 touring and level 3 open wheel) and I've never seen my teammate do better than this. Aside from that, the game is absolutely incredible though.
I bought the game to support you guys but holding my breath on the Apple TV 4k version of it, you should add more Apple TV exclusive graphic options and try to squeeze every last bit of the performance from it since you are worry free about the power draining issue , this game deserves to be playing on the tv OS from now on i refuse to launch my game on my phone and iPad until you are able to confirm an Apple TV 4k version !
He wont do much better than this either tbh... you can control a bit of his fate but not much to be honest.
I’ve noticed as seasons go on u get better team offers. It seems like when the announcer lady says the team is looking to spruce up their roster, (in my opnion) I get a better teammate. He’s even finished top 5 before.
