Did my first race... impressions, damn this game is good! Playing on iPhone X with HD textures.

 

Won my first race finally but needed to use the rewind a few times ! I do really like this but wish it was a fraction more ‘arcadey’ as it’s very tricky

 

Not right now but auto disabling haptic when using bluetooth controllers will be in the next update.

 

Bought and downloading now! This was an easy 9.99, and as another poster said, I would've happily spent more for a full premium game like this one. Can't wait for it to finish downloading

 

don't worry, take a look at anthony78 and Dailon80 posts, if the game runs fine on their 6S+ then also do on a normal 6S, both have the same identical specifics, exept for the different screen resolutions, and just for that (lower screen res), the 6S is slightly faster on a single/multi core geekbench test, so in theory Grid should run better on it.

edit> oh, and keep in mind that the SE has also the same specifics of 6S/6S+, exept for a lower screen res (which makes it the fastest of the bunch) compared to 6S , so if it's fully supported by the devs, the 6S performance should be close enough.

i also have a normal 6S but i don't care about Grid, LOL, so i can't tell you exactly how it works.

 

Game looks and runs great on the iPad Pro 10.5. Only wish there was a way to pick 60fps at the cost of graphics fidelity.

 

Agreed. The game looks awesome. I tried disabling the HD textures thinking it would increase the fps but I couldn't notice a difference, so it's back on HD again. The frame rate is fine really, but I always favour smoothness over detail.

 

What worries me is that: that says you have purchases in app, I am disappointed with that, plus I would have liked an offer to launch at least in 8 usd.

 

The IAP is all FREE! Buy the game for a one off price and you don't have to spend anything else to access all the extra content!

The IAP contains HD Textures and all the extra content from the original game for free. However all that extra content won't fit inside Apple's 4GB limit so we have made it a free optional IAP download.

Anyone tried this on a iPad Pro 12.9” (2017)?

I’m wondering if it plays at native resolution (which is quite high), and whether the framerate is stable

 

Is there any way to just view the cars in all their glory? Pan around them, etc?

Great game but im curious as to whats happening with my IPhone X

I have brightness at 100% and Auto-Brightness turned off. During racing after a while my screen dims and continues to do this a few times. Is this an issue?

 

Cheap people like you are the main reason we don’t have more premium games like Autosport on iOS. This game retails for $39.99 on MAC / PC.

 

Real Racing 3 have better graphics and details but its run smoothly even on 4S. How this game couldnt run on 6S! They could have optimize much better.
