This is true but they still rank statistically high on defense every year still. Not always the first but usually close when not. Good against the run.

Go Packers. That being said I'm not anti-Steelers. Rooted for them years ago against Arizona.

Wrong. No one in the league has that kind of defense anymore, so it's not an issue. The thing is the matchups such as. Woodley vs. Bulaga. Harrison vs. Clifton. Matthews vs. Whoever is the Steeleers LT and Flozelle. Ward vs. Woodson. Wallace vs. Williams. Rodgers vs. Troy.

Wrong? Re-read yer 1st sentence...sounds like you pretty much concurred son :)

No doubt that it's about the match-ups, but that's beside my point...which is...

Steel Curtain (from the 70s') was and still IS today the BEST DAMN defense, ever

And nobody cares (other than Packer fans and people who took the Packers and the points).

Football is so ridculously watered down, with its 53-man roster, 30+ teams, and hard salary cap. What some might called parody, others might just as easily classify it as medicurity.

There are no good teams anymore. There only only slightly above-average teams. Doesn't even matter who wins anymore. The "winning" team would get it's ass utterly kicked if it had played in the 80s, or 90s, or 2000's. There was nothing impressive about that game. It's was "meh" at best. But someone had to win, so someone did.

Even the commericals and the half-time wasn't that good. Nobody cares about the Blackeyed Peas either. I don't even think the Blackeyed Peas care about the Blackeyed Peas anymore.

Christina Aguilera flubbing the National Anthem was probably the highlight of the day.

If you don't care about football why are you posting here?

Anyway I'm really glad the Packers won this. I have been a fan Of theirs ever since I started watching.
