Other -> The Quest. And while I love Sword of Fargoal to pieces, it's more of a Roguelike than a regular RPG. Solomon's Keep probably doesn't belong on the list either...
Aww, did the little baby not get any milk today? Ignorant fool, keep your moody little comments to yourself.
Inotia 2 is my favorite RPG on the iTouch. It's the only RPG that hasn't left my iTouch yet unlike Ravensword, Zenonia 1 & 2, Chaos Rings, and others.
Maybe it should be on the list, but Inotia 2 for best iOS RPG? The mechanics are solid, sure, but the game's such a collection of fetch quests I couldn't take it any more... To each his own I guess.
people tend to not like those kind of graphics, or the pure turn based gameplay that's reminiscent of cellphone games from over 5 years ago.
I think the current graph sums the whole thing up rather nicely. Yes, another 14 votes and you got yourself a population of 100, but think about it, another 14 votes for, let's say, Rimelands would make it win by a mere 1 vote. What are the chances that all 14 would pick Rimelands anyway? So I think, Chaos Rings is the greatest RPG to date (wouldn't say 'ever' in case Square decides to make another epic, and an iOS exclusive, RPG). Sorry for English, I no english speaker.
This poll is too generalized. There are console ports, cell phone ports, and iPhone exclusives. If you're asking what the best RPG to ever appear on the Appstore is, then my vote goes for Crimsongem Saga. iPhone exclusive? Then Chaos Rings.
This thread should have been titled "Poll: what is the greatest IPHONE rpg ever?" I was all ready to tell everyone how great Baldur's Gate 2 was. But I have not played most of these Iphone RPGs yet. It seems like I'll have to try "Chaos Rings"
Fixed that for ya. That being said, I thought Undercroft had pretty good graphics for a "fake 3D" game of this sort. I grew up playing things like The Bard's Tale:
