My friend just got a new ipod touch and I'm putting together a list of games that we can we can play in person. I've been gaming on ios since day one of the app store and have played most of the biggest games, I just want some takes on games that people have actually enjoyed playing with a friend.
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies is just the go-to game for any multiplayer on any console. If you have it on consoles and more than one controller, it's more fun on there than in the iPhone version, but if not, definitely worth the purchase. Gameloft's shooters are a lot of fun in multiplayer, and when playing head-to-head, it's almost guaranteed that neither of you will hack. It's a shame that they removed any sort of multiplayer from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, since I remember playing that quite a bit with my friend back on the N64.

Love it so far. My personal favorites right now are exoplanet and wifiwarfare. Still haven't found a great RTS but have tried many. I wish they would do what they did with scrabble on the iPad for more games. If they could do this for Catan I would have an iPad tomorrow.
RTS Warfare Inc - $1.19, this is better than Quantum C and the add on missions are free Quantum Collape - $2.49 (I dont really recommon this tho), but this is on sale C&C Red Alert - 5.99 ON SALE (Normal Price $9) Shooter N.O.V.A Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance - $5.99 (WIFI to have more fun ) Brothers in arm 2 Global Front - $5.99 (WIFI is so much fun in this ) Sport Fifa World Cup - $1.19 I would highly recommen this Others World of Magic - FREE (WIFI needed) Pocket Legends - FREE (WIFI needed) Crimson Gem Saga - $5.99 (Not Mulitiplayer Game but fun RPG) NFS Shift/Underground or Asphalt 5 and GT racing Motor Academy -$???
I don't like the controls in zombies. money is not an issue, I just want a great list of 20-30 games to go head to head in.
If you do get that iPad, be sure to pick up IsoCards! (nothing like using ~$1K worth of hardware to simulate a $3 deck of cards! )
