We've just released a new app for learning Mandarin Chinese, called "iStart Chinese!" (v1.0) for the Education category (price $2.99 or equivalent). Mirai Language Systems specializes in tutor-based language apps, where you get the full experience of several native language tutors helping you actually understand and speak the language. This app is targeted at complete beginners of Mandarin Chinese. Uniqueness of this App: 1. It teaches beginner-level Mandarin Chinese by way of a dialog between a native English instructor and two native Mandarin language guides to help you pronounce Mandarin correctly. 2. The tutor dialog is in the form of "speech bubbles" which move in sync with the audio. 3. The Mandarin speech bubbles can be "toggled" to display words in Pinyin or Chinese characters (you can set either Simplified or Traditional style characters), which is very helpful to users who wish to learn how to write Chinese. 4. Each lesson contains animated "stroke order diagrams" to show you how to correctly write out Chinese characters. 5.
